I think so. I saw lots of movements in my serps over the last few days already. Something definitely happened a few days ago. Maybe just some kinda test for this big update now? Or they rolled out the big update a few days ago.

And that is ? I saw someone commented in this forum about having run black hat websites for years now and never had any issue with Google updates. At the same time, I've read someone posting here having done all right and being hit with some updates anyway. So I feel kinda lost sometimes reading all of that.

That's why I really want to know the real basics to do SEO right for my website. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Honestly, as long as you have fresh, unique, interesting content and build high quality links, you should be fine in the end.

My website got 1000% jump in google organic traffic in last 9 days, it was dancing on the page one for one of the main keywords in that period but today it completely disappeared.
I hope it will show up eventually lol
I did only on page SEO in last few months and a bit of social promotions. No link building at all..

Same for FB. Everytime algo changes, everyone seems to know and by the time I get the news, it's a couple weeks old.

The big problem is Google will just give you the same generic answers all the fucking time. “”Write naturally”, “Focus on your users” etc. how many legit sites lost traffic in the June update?

Sometimes they don’t even announce updates or changes in the algo.
