In the last 3/4 days on desktop version I've seen:
1 - Google start to present results like mobile version: URL with favicon, then TITLE and then description.
2 - Rolled back and present URLs in camel case style without https and www, in this format: ThisIsSite.com
3 - Today, according to my timezone, they present results in old style but with positions changed (after update).
We'll see what happen in the next days, but I smell a BIG update,
PS: I monitor G hundreds of time a day and I smell changes and updates quite immediately
