I does know some reporters surf trying to find some leak news.

Why would you need Darknet in the era when Twitter exists lool? Some people on there should work for the FBI.

There is no thing as "Dark Net" there is only "Deep Net" or "Deep Web"
Basically any site blocking all crawlers and spiders are technically in it.
Of course the media makes it seem like it's all about hackers and crimes.
Don't get me wrong, all kind of shit is there, but not all of them are like that.

Okay, then let's call it "websites that block all crawlers and spiders" instead of the Darknet. Should be way easier.

Most of the deep web is boring, with the exception of the illegal merch you can get. A lot of the illegal merch vendors are actually law enforcement in disguise doing sting ops so it's really really murky.

AFAIK:

What is the dark-net?. The darknets are sites that are not indexed such as private sites, intranet sites, test sites and other stuff that should not be exposed to the internet and, in some rare case, they are sites with some illegal/fishy information. However, the media had vilified the darknet as a blackmarket where you could find information about illegal stuff, fbi, cia, and conspiracies.

I.e. dark-nets are less glamorous and useful that you could think.

If you want conspiracies then you could look at regular sites. They are not hidden. Some "darknets" are simple dark because it's mysticism.

A decade ago, dark-net was the main way to promote and distribute privacy (mainly ftp) and some of them are still active but now they are less than effective and they are really hard to find (and they are not as valuable cause you could find piracy everywhere).

And if you want to find illegal "stuff" (drugs, sex, snuff, illegal products such as weapons, credit cards, etc.) then Thor. I tested Thor and I found a couple of stores selling illegal products in a snap such as drugs and other things. You could find piracy too but piracy is everywhere.

ps: I'm not encouraging you to break the law.

You could find illegal products in some private-net. Private nets are sites that are not open for everybody and it requires a membership that you could purchase, be invited or both.

Indeed and they are soo obvious.

However, I know a guy that earns a lot of money running a "store". He tried to poach me but it's not worth the risk.

I was making a point here which you completely missed. Media outlets invented the term "dark net" or "Darknet" it's just "Deep Web" Get it? :)

It reached a point where it became a well known umbrella term that invoke a sense of danger and criminal activities. They had to put their touch, "Dark" ooooohhhh i am so naughty and dangerous. Hey, wanna keep repeating bullshit, no-worry mate, join the club. At the end of the day, it's all deep-web. My opinion,. have a problem with that?

They are , maybe lurking around there monitor.

Nevertheless I never go Darknet there surf around. I feel more curious lol , maybe there got real guidance on how to push traffic.
