Hey,

Let's say I am running a parent-child strat with 100s or 1000s of childs, the parent does nothing while the childs are botting hard and have the parent @mentioned in the bio.

Can this result in a ban for the parent account ?

I was thinking that as long as the parent does nothing and can't be liked via IP and such to the childs it should be safe, but I heard someone say this is not the case and I can get flagged solely for having multiple botting accounts link to my parent.

What do you guys think ?

Thanks.

Nothing will happen to the "parent account", unless the parent account breaks the rules on its own and get banned but it will not be banned because of its child accounts mentionning it or working to grow it.

I never got "parent account" banned. Also non of people I know that use this method reported that they got the mother account banned..

Yeah this is not the case at the moment, otherwise competitors would close accounts from left and right with this method.

Yeah it'll happen on bad quality, or new accounts

A team from Indonesia (I think) blew up with a top comment bot, their page went from 0-300k with Botting I think & they never got caught on the big page.

They even got a social media marketing agency page to 10k, then they hit the news in google for instagram & went ghost shortly after

Gotta be careful.
They created a bot, so if you tagged them & got noticed, you'd get comment likes.

So real people tagged them, then they got those real people to top comments. So all the bots were going to warmed up / real accounts and noone got affected.

It was very bad before June/Aug updates.
Instagram almost lost the comment section, then 95% of their accounts got banned or disappeared

This is a more complex version of M/C

Is anyone still successfully running the M/C method?

The method is still very well alive from my personal experience, I don't think that method will be lost in transition anytime soon. But as I've warned long before back then, doing client management is risky and actually affects the "Parent" account with tons of negative effect both in the short and long run.

There are many ways these days on top of M/S method, which proves to be helpful for growth you just have to be playful and break boundaries in your box of thoughts.

I have a question: at what site do you using this parent-child botnet and what purposes? thank you in advance
