A Journey using BHW "Done For You" Services

Good luck with your journey, following as I am on the search for services on BHW as well.

Okay another update. Again I'll break it down by service.

I've also reach out to a couple of BHW content services to see about a monthly/SAAS model for content. I'm not intending to produce much content myself, and will be looking for around 10 500-1000 word articles each month, which I'll then publish.

If anyone recommends any content services that could meet this please let me know - would be excited to hear!

Site Bolt
These sites are looking very impressive now with a good mix of video, images etc. I feel they've given a great base (With some good looking keywords) to build authority sites from - the content is fairly good, but there's only 3-4 articles per site, so main aim with these 3 sites will be content (I'm really please with the design).

Vaspar
Selected the 2 niches and they've started some of the design site/build. I'm happy with both niches - they've both got really good growth potential, the seller is including a lot of content with these.

Thenonparell

These guys have now come back with some further niches so they're not as close as before. These sites are intended to be micro niche and were significantly cheaper than some of the others - and I feel this is reflected in the niche choice. Still plenty of searchers and should be able to rank, but I'm not sure these 5 sites will need the level of content the other packages. Time will tell though!

Jacksteam

I now have the niches and keywords - these are looking promising to build some big authority sites. Unlike the others they have left me to choose domain names (The rest asked me to buy a certain domain), therefore I'm just making some decisions on domain names.

Great update! Do you worry about speed at all? Curious where your housing is at.

Great updates. This is turning to be something cool. Wonder if someone else will do that for other types of BST.

Hosting all sites with Namecheap (Their more expensive shared hosting package).

I've not heard the best reviews so may change this - it was cheap and easy at the time, so not too worried about it until traffic starts.

Have you had much luck in sourcing a content writer on BHW?
Have you got a specific criteria you're looking for? ie someone to rewrite content based on sources you provide, or a writer to research and create content based on keywords?

I'm hoping to find a service where I can give them a title (And possibly some affiliate links) and they will then write up the article.

It needs to be unique, but if it's a rewrite of something else don't mind too much, provided it is rewritten and not just spun or copied!

I've dropped 2 site developments of 4 as the developer couldn't meet my requirements. the two that's left I'm having a nightmare with as I'm trying to figure out what the developer did to get the 1 page site looking like it does. In order to add new content involves getting the new product images from Amazon\google resizing in Photoshop adding cta buttons then uploading. Then adding these to tables which is proving a mare as the plugin is malfunctioning and won't accept the image source code !!! Essentially the first steps are hours and hours figuring out what the developer did and how I can create the same .7 hours today trying to get a photo to appear on a comparison table time sapping and very frustrating...no reply from the developer who's out spending my cash I expect

I’d also recommend setting up permalinks straight away as it may screw up your site if you do it later

Been a little while since I updated this - some of the services are taking a lot longer than claimed. I don't mind too much, but something to bear in mind (They were all ordered before I made this thread).

I'll give the breakdown by service again:

Site Bolt

3 Sites complete and I'm happy with the quality. Lots of content (Videos and graphics). The articles are decent quality, and should only need some minor tidying. I've now installed statcounter and there's been a few visitors to each - some from Facebook (Which I assume is from the links they built) and a few people coming to try and sell me SEO/Marketing services (Likely bots).

I've now added 6 extra articles (2 for each site) to start bulking these out some. I do think some more research could have been done into the keywords, however should be able to correct this by adding more content (Some of the articles supplied are only loosely connected to the keywords, and not very relevant to the Amazon products provided).

Vaspar

They've started on the sites and they look okay. The article quality is worse than Site Bolt, so will take some effort to tidy/clean.

At the moment they look a bit more "Noob" than Site Bolt, but I'm not sure if they've finished with them yet - so don't take that as gospel.

Jacksteam + Thenonparell

I've agreed keywords with both these sites and ordered hosting/domains for all the sites. However they haven't done anything to them yet, so just "Hello World" for now! If I don't see any movement this week I'll chase up the sellers to see what's happening.

As I've said before I'm not planning to do any link building for quite some time on these sites. I'm hoping they'll rank naturally through content, and I can then give them a push. Site Bolts package did include some basic link building, and not sure if some of the other sellers will give them a quick blast to get indexed.

Thanks for this. Doesn't sound too much fun - I think these type of sites are not quite as "Ready made" or "Done For You" as claimed. The sellers are certainly taking a while, although in general I'm pretty happy with the content I've received.

have you done any speed testing on these sites esp the ones loaded with graphics and videos..i made a cracking page all bells and whistles...it died in gt metrix and google page speed tests..also the aspire theme and 3rd party load times/css are still causing issues as are the google fonts, expire dates etc etc etc...thats the main thing ive taken from this is..at the start it seems like a great kick start but even though i paid £250 for two sites with 1 article a piece..the quality was frankly so so ..and reading around the "best way to build threads " here.... i can see lots of things in my sites that go against whats recommended here.. and its taken me so long to figure what the developer has done most of my productive hours are being spent altering layouts trying to fix comparison tables layout issues..so ill probably start again from scratch and build a new site from the ground up ..as for kws i bought a good supply from here 800 kws or so pretty cheap and good quality enough to make 500 or so articles id say.
so all in all for me it hasnt been a great start ive spent my time bouncing emails to fix problems as the developer refuses im chat and also trying to figure out and fix them myself.
id defo recommend to do some speed testing on your pages and sites in general as a load of developers chuck in multimedia hoping to enhance content but in effect kill the page as itll be so slow itll never factor in the serps and hence youll see limited traffic.
in terms of content i tried to source (seoclerks) various "guru" expert writers all of which produced crappy copy paste articles that bombed in gramarly ..so ive written 6 x2000 articles myself it was pretty easy and enjoyable . now i have outsourced the kws i can see myself writing it all for free

Okay all sites are now built. Here's speed test results (Using gtmertix). They are all on the same hosting (Shared Namecheap):

Vaspar Sites:

Site 1 - Pagespeed Score 87% (B) // Fully Loaded Time 0.9s
Site 2 - Pagespeed Score 88% (B) // Fully Loaded Time 1.1s

Sitebolt Sites:

Site 1 - Pagespeed Score 57% (E) // Fully Loaded Time 3.1s
Site 2 - Pagespeed Score 72% (C) // Fully Loaded Time 3.7s
Site 3 - Pagespeed Score 60% (D) // Fully Loaded Time 13.5s

Jacksteam Sites:

Site 1 - Pagespeed Score 94% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.1s
Site 2 - Pagespeed Score 93% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.0s
Site 3 - Pagespeed Score 93% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 6.1s

NonParell Sites:

Site 1 - Pagespeed Score 92% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.6s
Site 2 - Pagespeed Score 86% (B) // Fully Loaded Time 2.0s
Site 3 - Pagespeed Score 92% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.3s
Site 4 - Pagespeed Score 94% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.4s
Site 5 - Pagespeed Score 90% (A) // Fully Loaded Time 1.6s

Overall I'm quite impressed with the load times - all these sites have 5-10 articles and lots of images. I haven't loaded ads onto any of the sites yet.

Site Bolt have placed videos on the home pages of all 3 sites - and I think this is having an impact, however they're clearly someway behind.

I'll do some more updates when I get more time later in the week!

yea some are ok youve got some huge load times in there too 13.5 and 6.1s but all in all great at below 3 seconds is the 13 seconds one the one with all the videos ? if they are youtube it wil clog your speed right up.

Right another update:

All sites now seem finished, which is good as I'm planning to let all of these age. No traffic really coming through yet, but not a problem as the focus now is on content. I'm not going to touch SEO until atleast the New Year, let's see if content really is king!

For the first 3 sites (Sitebolt) I ordered 6 articles (2 per site). I used HighTechOcean for this:

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/e...0-per-500-words.701044/page-204#post-12563514

The content quality is reasonable, not perfect but not bad. I may try another article writer to make comparison - if anyone has any recommendations please post here or PM me.

I've tidied up the articles and published them, along with some Amazon Affiliate links. Unfortunatley the sites haven't been built so that when new content is added there's ads/affiliate links on them - therefore these need to be added manually per article (I may be able to change this - not overly experienced with adding new posts in WP).

For the other sites I'm going to order 2 articles each and get these published. A couple of the websites are quite specific/thin so I'll only be able to do a few articles on these before I run out of content/ideas (Some of them are also much broader). Here's my thoughts on the niches selected:

Vaspar - Ordered two authority sites and one is extremely broad, while the other is very specific - therefore a mixed bag.

Site Bolt Sites - Fairly specific niches, however could be expanded some. I'm going to try and get the site speed on these down also (See post above).

Jacksteam - A little more broad than Site Bolt

NonParell - These sites are really quite specific, which I'd expect given they are much cheaper than the others and designed as Micro Niche sites

The very specific micro niche sites will likely need less content, whereas the more broad ones give me room for expansion. I've also set up "Statcounter" on all 13 sites, they are all getting random hits every few days at the moment, likely bots or something.

In an ideal world I could do with social media for each site - however this is a pretty heavy job. I'll have a hunt around to see if any services provide this (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram would be my go-to). I don't know how much it effects ranking, but seems to be on most sites I see.

As above I'm not bother with things like competitor analysis, SEO etc. for a few months as want to see if I can rank them with content.

Yes mine are almost identical . I’m totally focused on content not putting ads or product links as the site it’s 2 months old . I’m generating the guides first 3k articles based on bought kw research . So take a kw put it in google see what articles exist then write better one/longer one when possible . What I find is most kws are actually used for product comparisons . Rather than actual info articles . So kw binoculars is usually used to compare 5-10 products rather than explaining what they are in detail size shape weight magnification etc . I’m trying out the latter approach in-depth info articles with links back to products pages . The next project will scrap amazon as I think it’s being squeezed badly (see other threads) and use ads .less hops for one !

A note on social media I’d avoid fb as it is a poor traffic source . I know of a 750k subscriber fb list that gives the owner less than 1% of their traffic to the website . They spent years and 25% of their time generating these subscribers interacting replying etc etc ..and for a roi of only <1% not worth the time !!! Twitter the same 2 hrs after you tweet it’s gone !

Stick with pin and see how that pans out before wasting months on fb twit ig etc

Right another day another update.

I've chased both Vaspar and Jacksteam - the sites don't have even close to the number of articles/content promised (And were ordered 2 months ago). Vaspar has replied saying he's been unwell and will sort - fair enough.

No response yet from Jacksteam / Crux SEO which is a little worrying. The core of the sites ordered from these guys is built (Logo, standard pages etc) however they do need to be completed.

Therefore until these are ready I'm focusing on the other sites (8 in total).

As above the first 3 sites now have an additional 6 articles, which I ordered from High Tech Ocean. These are published and ready to start being indexed. The next 5 sites I've also ordered 2 articles each for (so 10 in total), this time from SEO King:

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-quality-articles-at-cheap-price-discount-available.695062/

I was fairly happy with the content from High Tech Ocean, however want something to compare it to. Therefore lets see what these guys come up with! It's also always good to have more than one option. Both suppliers are providing 500 words for $3.50 so very reasonable. Based on ordering 10 articles a month this is only $35/Month. I'll start pushing the content up on the sites that have a broader niche and start to rank. I also think that the "Micro Niche" sites could be expanded. As an example, if a site was "bestferrari" I don't see any reason it couldn't have articles about Lamborghini's.

To start I've gone with 2 styles of articles for all sites:

- A "Best X to buy" type article comparing products (With Amazon affiliate links)
- A more general "How to" or "Ways to" type article, which I'll look to link back to the "Best X" type article and also add some adsense to in the future

The sites also came with a fair amount of content themselves so I'm not starting from nothing. One problem I've had when posting articles is getting them onto the Homepage (I haven't really used Wordpress much before), so just trying to figure out how to automatically update the Home screen with fresh content!

It’s in Wordpress writing set static page and tick posts then set to number you want or change the theme to Astra for example which posts the posts on homepage by default

Thanks Troy, that's helpful.

Crux SEO / Jacksteam are now cracking on with things which is good. They've requested Amazon affiliate links and will place them (Sitebolt did similar).

I will most likely need to run some of the page speed testing again as they have also made some updates to the home pages of the sites.

Following. Wish you good luck and keep us updated from time to time.

It is a different journey with many sites at the same time.

Good luck.
