For me obsession on something but only if that thing is positive and will make you happier person is very good
But for example if you are obsessed with drog,alcohol,scamming... That's for me a negative obssession but if your goal is to get more freedom get out of 9-5 jobs have a better mindset...then it's all good
And for money it's a little bit different i think that if your obssesed 100% with money ONLY to pursue hapiness i will make it on negative side as it can destroy your whole life and keep you depressed... But if you focus on money but also other stuff you will live happy of course in the 2 cases you struggle,suffer... But one is worth it the other is not as you will still don't find what you where searching for even when you achieve a certain level of money
