Nopes for the thread. As others have pointed out, this is a forum; so we interact with members; not businesses (unless it's an enterprise account). I would happily buy from dogshitxxx if the price is right and the service is promising; and we have good reviews.

If you didn't resolve the shitlist, 100% chances are that you will get banned... Forget about selling other stuffs.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread but I voted for NO. It would open ways to cheat. So ... respect your own account as your actual life ... you don't have multiple lives now do you?

When I first read the poll, my answer was a big "no". However, I can see it being useful having two accounts: one a "marketplace" account that has your brand name and it is almost exclusively used for managing BSTs, and another personal account that *may not* open BSTs and that can be used to post your personal opinions as an individual in other regular threads. The two accounts linked, of course. If one gets banned, so does the other.

It's a good idea, but I assume it's not worth implementing/not a priority.

In the example you gave I have to point out that it is you as a person that is getting shit listed not your service. So no, categorically someone who has been stopped from selling a particular service should not be allowed to sell any other service until they have proven themselves worthy to do so.

Yeah, the SL is not against the service only; it is against the parties selling the service and if there is a partnership they {all|both} are held jointly and severally liable.

If Joe Blow has an account under his name and also under Mary Bikini (thanks, Mr McCann, my High School drivers ed teacher, for the names) all are toast if one is toast. Both get warnings if one gets warnings. Both get banned if one gets banned.

BHW is a community and people make up a community, not businesses.

But I'll add this, floating ideas in this subforum is beneficial and I appreciate you doing that, @SMMnet.

If you are shitlisted, it's not your service's fault you screwed up, it's yours. That should be common sense @pressrelease.

While I understand the point of pushing your own agenda for the furthering of your business, it's pretty clear that this is a direct result of a December 20, 2018 join date and needing to wait until you hit the year mark to change your username, especially as you've expressed an interest in selling non-SMM services. Again, I get the concern of having your face plastered on an avatar, offing link building services, with an SMMNet username.

But attempting to skirt around the rules by having "friends" create their own accounts, gain Marketplace Seller status, and then sell as a brand of yours with you acting as a shadow owner, which seems to be the implication here, is sketchy at best and blatant fraud at worst.

It's painful how easy the real reasoning behind this suggestion and responses are to uncover.

Currently, BHW only allows 1 account per user. This becomes a problem if you want to create multiple businesses and use different accounts to protect each brand.

QUESTION:

Should BHW allow users to create multiple accounts? (User must pay a fee of course, but doing this allows us to protect each brand so they do not counteract each other.)

Why dont you BUILD a brand that can do many things.

Create a name, BRAND NAME + SERVICE. Straight forward. You aint gonna sell out of here anyways.

Unfortunately, the above is not uncommon in the Marketplace at the moment in a similar format.

You have certain individuals, or groups, that believe the key to success is to regurgitate their BSTs with as many accounts as possible. When questioned, they are always dishonest and get caught out in their web of lies (I've quite literally had sellers claim no connection, then I suggest otherwise and if by magic, they suddenly claim they are friends but there is no business link...yeah, right).

It's always the buyers that get screwed by sellers like this because they are unaware that they are potentially buying the same service, from the same person. For example, if someone could explain the difference between these two BSTs then I am all ears:

I think you are looking way to deep into this. Also, I do not plan to sell SEO services. This was just an example I used.... After reading your response, you're clearly overthinking.

This was not what I was implying. I was more concerned about Brand Establishment on the biggest forum for Entrepreneurs. No reason to interpret what I said into something completely different and imply that it was what I meant.

You can view the link. The site is shut down, has been for months. It was an industry that I started to get known with then realized I had to work with others who then relied on them working or not. (Terrible thing to do is start a business when you don't have the main control.)
