Change date after rankings go up?

Just a quick question, say you got a bunch of top notch articles (say 30) you put on a site and after about 6 months its starting to grow in traffic. Curious, is it a good idea to go in and update something small and change the created date or revision date?

Update the content as well!

Interlink to other recently post articles and then do manual update!

Awesome that's the direction I was going, only thing is if the content gets updated and the content is already ranked does it hurt the rankings in your experience.

No, it doesn't hurt the rankings. It can, and often actually will, improve them.
