I would like to apologize for my recent actions. Of defacing BHW. I myself am now good friends with the owner. And currently helping him to gain re-access to his forum. And will most probablly be in charge of security on there forum.

Yeah, I cannot read about half of the posts and also get a database error message when trying to get into PMs.

When I click on some posts, I get only a white background with a bunch of script; looks like the coding for the intended page.

Yesterday at around 2PM EST BHW was hacked. Rackspace called me and alerted me to the problem and said they were going to have the linux team look at things. At 2:15 PM I call them and ask them to see if they can fix it. By 3PM I tell them to just do a restore from the previous day.

For whatever reason they kept delaying (waiting to the tape backups), around 6PM they said they have begun restore. Site is still hacked..called again 8PM they said they tried doing the restore 3 times and it keeps going to hacked site. (I was in a video production class so I couldn't get online on 11PM) Around 12PM site is still saying its been hacked. Rackspace said they were going to restore database from the previous day and it should be fixed.

Someone dropped the ball big time at Rackspace I was very surprised..normally they fix issues like this in 15 minutes.

man i don't know if its just me but the site seems to be moving really slow again and ive already gotten a few generic database errors again.

if i where you i would try getting dedicated server with "liquidweb" or "hivelocity" all i hear is good things about the two companys.

I was running some maintenance scripts so that may be why the site was running slow. PMs database error should now be fixed, if your still having a database error when viewing threads let me know.
