Shutterstock have some great images, however they can be a bit expensive for folk starting out, which is why a Shutterstock downloader can be very useful. At least until you make enough to pay for your images properly.
Problem is, these services tend to get taken down fairly quickly.... so, here is a service which has remained live for quite a while.
https://www.downloader.la
Step 1. Search Shutterstock to find the image you want.
Step 2. Click to view the image detail/purchase page (i.e. just click on it)
Step 3. Copy the URL in the address bar
Step 4. Paste the URL into the downloader.la search box
Step 5. Click on the Generate button
Step 6. Click on the Download button when it appears
Step 7. Right click the JPG image and Save As
Optional
Step 8. Click back on your browser and repeat steps 1-7 for additional images
Thats it, short simple and working!
I always tend to crop and alter the images in some way when I use these type of downloaders, but that is up to you...
