Hi, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this, still trying to find my feet. I wanted to know if anyone could offer suggestions about free keyword tools/cheap alternatives which offer search volume for keywords and possiby other metrics like competition.

I already have a keyword tool that provides keywords but little else, so I was looking for something where I could paste a bunch of keywords into and get more info about them. I've had a look around but the only suitable one I can find is Wordtracker, but I was looking for something less costly.

I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Google Keyword Planner with Keyword Every Plugin and Ubersuggest.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for your suggestions, really appreciate it.

I'm addition to Google Bing will also do this for you. You may want to cross reference them.

Google Keyword Planner has become a real pain in the a*** to get into. The keyword software I have provides me with the search volume but not competition. Out of all the tools you guys have suggested, which one do you feel is the best where I can add a bunch of of keywords and get competition data? It goes without saying that I appreciate you all taking the time for suggesting the tools. Most of them allow you to put in a seed keyword and get results, however, I can't seem to find where I can insert a couple hundred keywords and get the competition data. It may be that I'm a bit dumb when it comes to this : )

Once again, thank you for all your suggestions. at I'm trying to do is to sell a keyword service on fiverr. I know this is pretty competitive, but the service I want to try and sell has a bit of a twist to it compared to the other gigs on there.

I am going to bore you now, so thanks for your patience in advance. I am just getting back into the MMO thing. About 6 years ago I had built up around 35 sites: amazon/clickbank, they weren't anything special, just basic sites with around 20 - 50 pages per site (I wrote all the articles myself). I was doing ok with them ($1500-$2500 per month). But then the algos changed and everything went to pot. I sold some of the sites and let the others go (which, looking back was probably a mistake).

I'm trying my hand again at making money online, but am a bit unsure as to which way to go. I'd imagine that doing what I did before will be a lot harder today than it was then. So I was thinking of selling some service. I had thought about writing articles/product reviews etc, but the competition is fierce and writing articles for 3 or 4 bucks doesn't sound very appealing, so that's why I'm thinking about selling services which don't take too long to complete and deliver. Hence, the reason for my initial question.

I'm grateful for all the answers, and just out of curiosity do you think I'm heading in the right direction as someone starting again right from the beginning?

Jeez, this was just meant to be about a keyword tool. I can sense that I'm starting to drone on and I'm starting to bore myself, never mind anyone else. Thanks again guys!
