We have permanently restricted your account
After a recent review of your account activity, we have determined that you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy. Therefore, we have permanently restricted your account.

Remove all references to PayPal from your website (s) and / or auction (s). This applies not only to PayPal as a payment option, but also to PayPal's logo and shopping cart.

When PayPal permanently limits an account for violating the Acceptable Use Policy, we can reserve your money for up to 180 days under the User Agreement. After 180 days, we will notify you how to withdraw any money left in your PayPal account, if applicable.

If any chargebacks result in a deficit in your account, you must pay PayPal the amount you owe to avoid further action.

You can find PayPal's full eligibility policy by clicking User Agreement at the bottom of any PayPal page."

I have 40k usd on that account...
well i had around 2k they told me i had to wait 6 months for them to send me informaiton on how to receive it. which should be in about 3 days for me lol.
you can create another account however you will need new banking information and are obviously at risk of the same thing happening if you keep doing whatever they banned you for. ive gone through 3-4 accounts now luckily the other times i was smart and took my money instantly to my bank instead of letting it sit in paypal. but i gave up and eventually took my business to another merhcant provider. maybe this helps you maybe it doesnt.

Permanent limitation means they don't want to do business with you anymore.
As long as you weren't selling counterfeits, etc, then you should get your money in 6 months.

PayPal are tossers, did the same to me.

I had a lot less than that in there (luckily) but had to wait 6 months to get it.

Holding your money for 6 months is ridiculous and could easily bankrupt a business - no way a bank would be allowed to do it without some real hard justification and law involvement.

Why the hell did you keep the 40k in your account? That's gambling.
