Hey there guys!

As someone who's been working with SEO agencies for almost 3 years, I wish to start my own firm since I think I can stand up on my own now.

The problem is, I don't have any proofs to show my potentials like case studies and stuff because I don't own those previous clients of mine, but it's from the agency.

This is kinda hard for me to do, especially now that most clients and small businesses want proof of what you're doing.

What can I do in order to get some clients to believe me and close a deal? Thank you!

Why don't you take time to establish your own portfolio ? Like building your own websites. You'll earn side money with them in the long run if you know what you're doing.
I've already worked with an agency which build their own websites and do some SEO stuff on them and then sell them for locals professionnals who are just searching to expand.
You can offer free work too for your family and friends.
So here you go ! I just gave you 3 ways to deal with that issue of yours.
Enjoy ! ;)

I don't think you're quite ready for action yet. IMHO people setup their own firms when they're trusted by clients to the extent they'll take their business with you.
