Hello everyone.
I am a first time poster but I've been doing PPC for a while just never in such a niche (weight loss) but I've recently hit a huge wall. I don't understand why facebook won't approve my ads. It says that I can't question or make hypothesis on personal attributes. This has been a first round of testing and 3 ads have been rejected, I know if I keep pushing the envelope they will ban my account and this is not my account it's a client that has 4k + organic following of engaged people. However we will also need to branch out to everyone else as this is a great product. We are doing this in quebec, canada and this niche of weight loss ebook hasn't been exploited yet so it's ripe for the picking. Copy is in french and ads are in french, I would be willing to pay someone to help me get ads approved or even steer me in the right direction to get this approved without guess work.
Ie: show me concrete examples of dos and donts in this niche. Contact me take a look and audit this and tell me what to do ( I will pay you for this)
I seriously need some help any hint would help.

Weight loss is all about phrasing. As you already know one thing not the right way and they will disapprove it, I had an example of what was allowed when it comes to weight-loss, I have to dig through my USB HDD, will get back to you.

I would seriously appreciate this!!

Do you mind if I pm you ? This is all in french so I’d need like a few minutes to translate it.
Yeah but I would probably read it tomorrow as I have a couple PM's left to read and it's getting late as usual.

Did you anywhere mention the word weight-loss or anything that is related to it like, with this program/product you will be losing weight in no time or any sentence that has lose in it?

Yes a few times! (for the weight loss)

Here is the translation

Take a gander, I will post it here for you and everyone else who have ideas on how to make this "approvable"

The name of the product is: "the definitive guide to losing weight and not gaining it back"

Thanks!!

Yeah, the first sentence I already see why it got disapproved, that's an instant nono. And not just once but multiple times, you are going at it totally the wrong way, too aggressive. With weight loss you have to start very mild and once it's approved you can start testing more aggressive approaches.

Anyway, scrape everything with weight loss, lose weight and especially don't name it "the definitive guide to losing weight and not gaining it back" because you simply cannot guarantee that and the title is implying you do.

You have to take it from a positive perspective and talk more about contributing to a healthier lifestyle, the positives without mentioning losing weight and I would scrape the word diet in the beginning also. The reason they are very strict is logical as many many marketers were spamming these offers because people are easily triggered with these words.

Got ya, i will try to word everything differently that pertains to words « weight » and « loss » and we will see where that leads us. I just didn’t understand that terms like « weight loss » are just instantly banned as it is an approved interest in the interest list and their help section talks about how to market to gay, lesbians, trans and people of color but it doesn’t talk about actual weight loss

Thank you so much for clarifying this. If you ever find that file I’d appreciate taking a look at it. But you already gave me a direction.

i have some read in seo news or whatever that facebook has a right to reject our facebook ads one of the niche they always reject is weight loss :)

The word weight loss your always gunna get flagged need to word it differently. Some ideas

“FACT: 95% of people who go on diets fail to keep the weight off.

But what about the other 5%?

It turns out there are 3 simple behaviors that separate the 5% from the 95%.

Curious what they are? I’ll be talking all about them in my free 3-day video course, ‘The 3 Secrets of Successful Dieters.’

Click below to learn more.”

“Had enough of your friends talking about the keto diet? I’ll give you my top 7 secrets to get healthy without counting calories or swearing off carbs.”

aheive a healthy body

would you like to look ealthy

"Get in shape for the summer" etc.

Another alternative would be to create a FB Leads Campaign about eating healthy or something indirectly related to weight loss, have those FB leads scraped into your own autoresponder then promote weight loss products to them directly at your own leisure.

Achieve Healthy & Active Lifestyle everyone dreams of with " "

What product are you promoting?

I'm still running weight loss in the US and UK, it's hard for account to approve right now, but Germany and Austria will be easier, but according to the translation from your content in French I see there are a lot of possible points. make camp unapproved, the content is very important but your images and videos should not be simple, and the special thing to bypass the law with facebook is that you must have a good cloaking system.

Also check your landing page. That might also be an issue. I got a couple of weight loss ads approved

I've been seeing super agressive weight loss ads on my FB feed on a daily basis mostly around the shark tank angle.

Not sure how it gets approved on FB lol

Try the storyline method for your adcopy
