Hey everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful day!

I came to realization today that I have a big problem with fear, a lot of my goals and dreams didn't come to life because I get paralyzed every time I think about putting myself to work.

For some people just being conscious of fear is enough for them to step up, for others it's more complicated.

I know this is a place where people thrive to become better versions of themselves, so everyone here has a story with fear, whether it's a story of confront and breakthrough or continuous flight.

Please share your story and experience in this thread.

Thank you.

When your work becomes a necessity that fear will disappear.

You are only paralyzed because you have the option not to work.

Yes you need to act then you will loose or win.

There is a famous quote

Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.

By facing it!

Bravery and confidence don´t come from the absence of fear is when you ACT DESPITE OF IT!

I have fear everyday. When I sit down and start working, I know that competition may be doing something better, maybe even working to put me out of business. When I am trying new things I fear it will not work out or even put me in loss. Not always monetary, energy lost, time spent.

But I came to realize that comfort is even more to fear. When I am comfortable I may feel good but I am putting myself in danger, my family in financial danger. I would rather work and fear because If I fail(learn) or succeed it is ALWAYS better than getting paralyzed by fear and not starting or even giving up.

This is the only way.

My fear of failure multiplied when i started becoming more and more responsible with my life and then some extremely bad things happened in the past that made me lost everything until i had nothing to do but step-up.

I remember this quote I read that stuck in my head "It is until you lost everything that you're free to do anything."

Everyday, i live to that purpose.

Sounds more like a fear of failure.

The best way to overcome it is... going to cost you ;) jk

It's by having people around you hold you accountable, it's not that you can't do "it", it's that you're too comfortable to try, so you procrastinate.

Make your goal known public with deadlines. Make a thread, update it, let people scrutinise you, get out your comfort zone.
