[YOUTUBE] "skip this ad in 15 seconds"

It's funny and strange to me how us being online marketers always trying to shove as many ads as possible onto the users face to earn but can't deal with the ads ourselves.

I just saw your threads about ways to advertise on tik tok. How do you think normal users feel when you spam everywhere?

I think the patience of a consumer and a entrepreneur are at two opposite ends of the spectrum.

As consumers they're willing to sit through ads without a big strop, they've got nowhere to be but the 9 til 5.

As entrepreneurs, time is money, we are always looking for shortcuts, ways to get the biggest bang for buck, stretch the dollar, get ahead, work never ends, we need to get right to the crux of the spot of gold with zero to little distraction.

*slightly generalised but you get the drift

Another Brave browser user here, I haven't seen ADs on Youtube since when I've started using Brave 1 year ago.

Thank you for your suggestions everybody! Looking into it now

to what @lmz said , definitely & to what you're trying to say - I'll suffer through YouTube ads all day watching podcasts, educational videos, letting it run & falling asleep (full pay outs to creators)

But shit, on a Friday night when I'm having a few drinks trying to listen to some music - I shouldn't be smacked with "skip in 15 seconds" which doesn't fully load / allow you to click & get to the video until a few more seconds , covers a full song i could've listened to comfortably, within the first couple ads

I was also very surprised with the "15 seconds" as a new update and figured it would be a good share.
Usually YouTube doesn't charge you if they skip before 30 seconds, they may make it tighter / looser & allow marketers to make their sales pitch accordingly

Yes it was a major complaint on my end, but experts took it for their note book of knowledge. Maybe something - most didn't know yet. If they're not a YouTube user without blockers / premium

To win in marketing, it's smart to be on the front lines

You
1) payments for views might be different

2) as a user, this is FUCKING horse shit. It's Friday, I wanna listen to music. Not 30 minutes of ads within a playlist

Tik Tok is about to knock out instagram.
Who's gunna knock out YouTube?
you can use brave browser if you dont wanne see ads.

No problem
