What do tou think about buying land?

Its supposed to be a strong investment.

Someone suggested to buy land in a city that is currently building, and in time they will want to buy it back for more cus theyre desperate for the land.

Seems like a low effort investmen.

But buying land in general, how would u earn from it? It sounds like the best investment possibilty to me but im sure there are more experienced here that can help me on the subject.

1) Depends Where is that Land
2) City Plan
3) Growth of that City

and more factors.

you want to make money is a year? 5 years? 25 years? or 50-100 years? because there are some lands you won't make a dime even in 50 years.

You can buy land for 2 reasons;

1. Capital Gain: As described in your text above, buying lands is a lucrative business if you can wait. Using this approach all you want is flip for profit when the time comes.

2. Cash flow: Ground lease, renting out the land for monthly charges - You can later have it developed for home rentals.

The whole game is about waiting.

It sounds so interesting.

As an example, what are good places to buy land atm? How to investigate on it?

Are there other investment options that seem better?

I just like the low effort part. Dont wanna chase after people not paying their rent. Land doesnt get bought by poor people. Hehe.

Buy that land and build 2 vertical farms:

1) Soldier Fly Larvee - Best protein producer in the world (free cost of feeding - they turn garbage into protein)
- you get money for garbage disposal, and for selling dry larvae which are full of proteins.

2) Inland Fish Farm - Profitable especially if your city is far away from sea and other water bodies
- Almost free cost of operation, since you feed your fish with larvae

3) Bio Chicken Farm - Same as Fish Farm, much easier to operate, same sources of food, larvae.

Start on ground level with modest buildings, invest in a multi store building later and multiply profits for every store of building you add.

These advices are worth millions of dollars if you have a budget and a mindset

Really depends where are you from.
Around here there is no taxes for agricultural land + no taxes from the income of such land. Also the land doesn't depreciate in value as buildings, cannot be fucked over from tenants etc. So all in all good long term investment. You can monetize by renting the land to some farmer (again depends of from which country you are).

There is not much to tell Marly, The world is a big place, lots of opportunities regarding buying lands. most of them will be deals for a very long term.
I asked for your budget to understand what is your capabilities to understand what can be your aim.

All essential to survival. If you get into any of these sectors it may be a good investment. Land is limited in supply but demand continues to rise as population increases. This also applies to food, water and shelter. Land is fairly probably a fairly safe investment if you know what you're doing and buy the right land at the right price at the right location. If you use the land for one of the essentials I highlighted it might be a pretty smart move. Especially if you look at alternative methods of food and shelter (more eco/sustainable/affordable housing).

This is not investment advice. I'm not an investment advisor and you should consider this informational purposes only. Please do your own due diligence and further research.

Most of the country real estate already zoomed and wont give that much return. But if any big project coming near future in that area mean , that investment will do good.

Replies like this are the reason I create these topics.

It may be no direct investing advice but I don't need someone that tells me exactly what to do I don't even expect that, but your reply contains very strong thinking material and I'm writing it down even.
