Wordpress site hosting solution

I am starting a new wordpress site this week. It is going to be a very simple website with regular content update. I will probably use "NEWSPAPER" theme.

Can anyone suggest me which hosting service and which plan to choose ? I am targeting global traffic as my site is not for any particular region.

I currently use 5. Google, Amazon, Immotion, Bluehost and Namecheap. I renewed all of them except for Amazon and Google. I may drop Namecheap next renewal.

Personally I would recommend WPXHosting or siteground if you are looking for fully optimized wordpress hosting, it comes with a hefty price tag though.

Oh so cool to see WPX mentioned here! I've been with them for a couple months and have been very happy!

Although yea a bit more expensive than what OP was hoping for.

I've been with namecheap for almost a year and have not had any issues, and hosting is like $2.88 a month or something and not the slowest at least. Not sure how it would be with a lot of traffic though.
