Yes most companies allow this, the best way to do this is to get a cloudhost (google search it) then you have full control over the server and it doesn't matter at all what you host (although they may have some policies about porn)

I own a hosting company using cloud technology.. We use dedicated servers co-located and have been making a killing in a sector of the web market. GO get it. Need any help or want to team up on some stuff let me know. I have many web designers working for me across the country..

and what about marketing this service? I mean, yes, its a nice business, its easy to do, but the problem is, where to those customers? because you can spend a lot of your time doing SEO, posting on CL etc, for 2 or 3 clients per month..

That is the big question, BUT there are tons of ways to get new leads. You can cold-call, direct email marketing, bidding directly, responding to RFPs, super-targeted ads (CPM/CPD, not CPC). Ad nauseam.

You gotta rotate work with lead-hunting.
