There are many reliable sources available online. Just google it. I would prefer searchengineland site and you tube videos.

First of all, read all the pinned documents in Black Hat SEO. From that you can get some idea of what it is and how it operates. you learn the basic from it buddy

1. pick your favorite subject, lets say its chess
2. buy a domain thechessmaster.com (whatever)
3. Get cheap hosting, install wordpress
4. Write 1 article a day about your favorite subject, it will be easy, its your favorite subject
5. Work on your website theme, get it looking nice
f. setup google analytics when you have time, its not essential but do it at some point
7. setup search console, again no rush just keep writing your article every day
8. install yoast seo plugin, do everything it tells you to do
9. lets say you are at 3 months with nearly 100 articles online, maybe you can drop a link to a chess set you like on amazon, write a review of it
10. your site is ranking, you therefore know seo, you may have even already made your first affiliate commission

Just do the work, if you do the above for 12 months solid then go check out a site called flippa
