I moved two months ago or something and left my instruments in another city. I got my very first guitar back in 2009. I still have it.

I was serious about music a while back, but writing consumed most of my energy. And when I attended music theory workshops (my fking god), I just left the whole thing. I played in a couple of amateur bands, never performed. But it was more fun playing keyboard than guitar, I guess. I still have fun messing around on each instrument every now and then.

My brother is a professional front-man, being a lead vocalist and a guitarist (he's really talented). He tours in tourist attractions and hotels.

My gear: A Silvertone guitar (don't know if they still exist!) and a a very heavy Korg N5 ex. It's mainly a synth.

What do you have?

Gotta love Boss multi effects. I had ME 25 before, loved it. I used it as both as a multi effects and a sound interface, worked great when I plugged my keyboard on bypass and to my laptop.
I don't prefer floyd rose, though. Too much work.

Btw, is that a reference to THE Gogol?

That's what I do, honestly.
I once wrote lyrics for my brother's band. It was insane attending a gig with lots of people while a whole band sang my own writings. This was like 6 years ago or something.

Haha I don't like floyd rose either. It's too much to maintain, specially if you are doing a live gig. Still, gotta use what you have lol. GT 10 is a freaking beast! Only single padels are better than this processor, but the price for a chain will be skyhigh.

As for "Gogol", it is my pet name lol.

Hello there!
I own the Yamaha strat made in late 70s (got this one after falling in love with everything John Frusciante does and realising I couldn't afford a vintage Fender).
Also since I'm more into electronic music these days (mostly ambient and techno) I bought M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 midi keybord, which I use with Ableton Live and some vst-plugins. The combination of live guitar + some synths & drum machines might give you some interesting results, you don't even need any other band members
