VPS vs your own PC? for automation

The thing with VPS is that in any case that your Laptop internet connection is not running - the VPS will always be up 24/7.
So you are in a piece of mind. It's also not recommended to automate own your on machine because you lose a lot of CPU/RAM/Internet Bandwidth

VPS. Connection doesn't drop, connection is way faster than your home PC, VPS is completely clean, and you can use your PC for other things without bogging it down.

That's because of several reasons. To begin with, they are much cheaper to acquire and operate. You will need a solid $$$ to buy even a decent computer, where you can rent a vps for a few bucks per month. Not only the hardware, but think about your electricity consumption too. Plus think about the life span of your computer parts. Parts will ultimately fail, and you will need more money to fix them. For a vps, it's not really your problem.

Now comes the internet speed and reliability. Home broadband plans aren't that reliable and fast, like a server; atleast where I live. So, for running my bot in full speed, I would prefer using a server that is hosted in a high speed network.

Oh and not to mention, server scalability is also a factor in many cases. You can increase your hardware in many vpses without even having to restart the server (well may be a soft restart at most).

Yes it definitely seems very contraproductive. I am just looking for some alternatives and new point of views.
Today someone pointed that automated bot is in IG eyes not being seen as browser or mobile activity, and smth about jvs not beign readable there.
So I was thinking if some real browser activity could not help. (not embeded)
Heard these days is counted almost everything, like scroll time, usage of mouse/notepad.
