Questions Website?

Hi folks,

I'm want to create a "community" - more like a Quora clone - but focused on a single niche, from pets, i will extract a single animal, let's say dogs.

I want to create about 1000 questions and answers like:

Why dogs etc
How dogs etc
Do dogs etc

Pets, no matter which one beeing such a hard niche, do you think something like that can have success?

I will focus on social media; on this community; members will be able to register and answer/post questions themselves.

I don't think SEO it's a valid point here...the niche beeing such a pain in the ass... I'm looking for something -long term- white had as much as possible.

How will you monetize something like that?

I’m thinking if you make it a niche targeted Q&A project. It would be easy selling ads space targeted to the niche. Dog seem broad, you might want to laser target to breeds like Alaskan and all

The pet/niche will not be dogs...was just an example, but i got you ideea. I might create category's for each breed. How many questions and answers you think will be a good start?

I have an excel with around 10.000 questions, and i can gather more, but i hope people will start to ask/answer questions themselves - as i will not be able to answer all those "start" questions myself - i will need to pay a writer or something to help me with that

Nice idea. By the way, there are already 2-3 good forums on this niche. You can study them.
