Semi-gamble friendly advertising platform?

So after a day of running Facebook ads it got taken down ( sad face ). I had some great results but my application is "semi-gambling niche" related.

On my app users can play a game for free and earn real rewards. Of course my Facebook ad mentioned that real rewards can be won. That's something Facebook does not like.

Unfortunately those ads had great results. I think i paid about $15 for 80 installs so I'm kinda bumped out.

Now i am looking for some great alternatives. I really want to blast some money into this app since it's been out for 2 days and i want to get as many installs as possible at the start. Though they have to be legit. I don't want any bullshit installs that will get my app down instead of up so it has to be a legit platform to promote it.

Any suggestions? P.s. i tried Adwords but I'm not sure what the hell went wrong there. I've set a $5 budget to test, next day i was charged $20, had 1.1K clicks but 1 or 2 installs. So that's a big no-go for me.

In the meanwhile I am waiting for Reddit ads to approve my ad but I'm afraid Reddit is a bit too skeptical about the niche my application is in.

Since you mentioned reddit, if you have one account with decent karma/postings you might want to post your app in subreddits such as /r/beermoney.

Other than that you might also want to search for discord groups related to your niche, join the groups and check with mods if there is a way to advertise your app. Or be a bit active in the community and post and talk about your app like you are a 3rd party user. I found discord groups to be also a good way of driving traffic if you do it right. Ofc it will require time at your end. Maybe telegram could be a good place? Have not tried them.

You could search twitter accounts with followers and see to use "influence marketing" yes twitter has many fake followers over there but thats why it should not be expensive to ask an account to promote your app. You could test it out with 1-3 influencers to see if it works out or not - but url shorten to check the click ration per 1 account over there.

Other than this try maybe Quora

I really would like to look for some influencers / posts but i can't seem to find some good ones. Not sure where to look though, the only platforms i know is pretty low quality.

Twitter is one of the platforms I would really love to try out but somehow it tells me the Google play URL of my application is not correct. Of course it is 100% correct, active and has no issues on any other platform so not sure what that is about.

I'll look into the Discord channels. That indeed might be interesting.

Because this is a legit application that has to follow the book. I've done enough tests in the past to know that Google Play is very good at weeding out the bullshit. Not doing it by the book means a remove or lose of installs/reviews in the end. I can try all i want but they won't accept any more ads. I was just lucky they slipped the first time since they probably wouldn't allow it ever. Strange though since they somehow have no issues with "Get free $20 worth of chips" slots ads...

I didn't think of it before but i think I'll give unity ads a try in the meanwhile.

I mean as long as the advertiser doesnt say " No facebook traffic" I dont see the problem. You're only gaming facebook and if you are paying for ads 9/10 the people clicking them are humans on that platform so you have 9/10 chance that the person who complete the conversion isn't a bullshit bot.

2ndly twitter is terrible for advertisements. Nobody goes on twitter to buy anything but talk about their feelings and about people's business. The CPM's arent even worth it unless you just want to do branded stuff in hopes your brand becomes well known. (I've spent about $1500 on twitter and I instantly cut it off because it was just a bunch of wasted money)

I'm just making it the point that you say you have a winning ad combo, yet you're jumping ship the first minute you see resistance. This defies all logic and I'm 99% sure you won't see the same EPC's on other ad platforms the same as you did with Facebook.

When you find winning campaigns you need to figure out how to keep them running and milk that cow until the day it stops breathing.
