Safest investments

I am working towards a strong investment (while keeping up with the routine bills/expenses). Real estate sounds like the most solid type of investment as long as it's kept legit and not using the money you make on it wastefully.

Crypto currency seems a bit unstable and uncertain although I do think there will be a few dominating currencies that emerge soon. I'm no expert on this one so could be totally wrong.

Silver and gold are always good too but I'm more looking for something that will create a passive income on the side while I still work.

Ideas?

Depending on where you live, property is one serious option.

Another would be speaking to an investment broker.

Gold, diamonds etc are fairly safe.

Real Estate will never let you down. You can use it as a fail safe and keep earning rentals on it. Gold is another good option. The idea is to invest in something which has limited availability.

I would choose anything that aims for long-term stability. Something you can build over time and that can be inherited by the next generations.

But what if I did the real estate investment with a sizable property with multiple units that I could rent out? That could be passed down.

Before you invest your money research, research, research.

There are a few, although they all come with their own risks tbh.

1. Property/Land - Even better if you can rent your property out.
2. Index Funds - Go up and down but 99% always up over time.
3 Gold, Silver etc etc - Where money gets just in a storm!

Good ideas. What makes you say water supplies? You mean lakes? I think a huge large scale desalination plant is well over due

I'm leaning very much towards the renting out of my property (when I get it). Having a few of those even if I don't make much of anything myself until the loan is paid off

Wow really, I had no idea. I kinda have two idea about that place. Either they are getting ready for when they are no longer a major oil supplier thus not making much money from that and they then resort to tourism or businesses moving there or something like this. They'll have a huge "brand new city" by then.

Or they have so much money and just don't know what else to do... maybe but of both

First of all there is no secure investment. All of them can hit the floor any time.

But

If you don't use a ultra huge leverage (like huge loans with little down payment or margin trading), your risk would be small.

I personally invest in everything that you can touch. So thinks like houses or apartments.

Even if there is a crisis, i don't have to worry about losing more money than invested and i also have the house and the apartments.

I could live in them or just sell it some time after the crisis.

The key is, don't over leverage yourself and try to buy everyrhing without loans.

Very smart and definitely the ideal way to go about it.

I want to invest and will probably have to go the loan route but like you bring up, don't over due it on the leverage. And if I am keeping my eye on the mountain and not using the money I get from renting it out for anything other than paying the loan off it should work out.
