A straight up question for a Straight up answer.

Ive been in drop S for around a year and a half and still to this day havent found the key to traffic for starters.
FB ADS yeah got that.
But for those of us with less than a 100 sales I've been told to stay clearly away
even with a e-mail list of over 1000 people.

Closest answer ive found on BHW or moreso the INTERNET
is either
A. pray and drop some cash in instagram accounts. (dropping 100 hundred per shout out)
or
B. Run engagment ads then lla campagins using fb ads.

Did you know the traffic game?
if so straight up question for you BHW.

How does one get traffic in 2019?

You missed SEO on that list. That's my go to.

1. SEO
2. SEO
3. SEO
4. Paid Advertisement
5. Social Medial Marketing

People don´t often focus on SEO because it takes time to convert but if you´re running a business and consider yourself and entrepreneur you should be focusing long term and, therefore, SEO it´s by far your best option in order to build and drive traffic to a website.

ok so people are using SEO on there DS stores.
I thought it wasn't a thing.

Any other thoughts?

SEO (won't happen overnight)
Develop an active social media following (Won't happen overnight)
Buy Traffic (you already know this)

There's not really much more to tell..

If you have around 100 sales and 1k+ emails, then you must have already a nice bunch of data...
You clearly can run some conv purch on some LLA's, based on different events & LLA from your mail list.
If it doesnt convert, then it comes from your marketing and what you offer!

Does SEO work for dropshipping though? If so what kind of SEO do you use for such case?

Of course it does, why wouldn't it? Been my bread and butter since I joined this forum. Here you go: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/real-life-example-of-how-you-can-make-an-ecommerce-site-that-pays-you-decent-cash.758805/ - Thank @BassTrackerBoats for that great guide.

SEO works regardless of the business model. SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization" so regardless of your business models and as long as you run it through a website you will still need to optimize it to improve its ranking on search engines.

Basically you make money on an ecom store by building a list you can market to.

So first the key is to build a funnel so people opt into your list.

The bigger the list = the more money your store will make.

You were correct to go down the paid traffic route as SEO is simply too slow to do that in any reasonable time frame or to any reasonable scale for a startup.

I have done this pretty successfully for many years and have lots of appropriate funnels.

Many people struggle with this, so I am quite happy to show you how you can do it.

SEO, Snapchat, Telegram, Kik. Build an audience and don't think just about Email list. there are way better alternatives nowdays for email list. It's still a thing. But not like it use to

What is your list?Email list?
what is your paid traffic?Facebook or google?

Those that are smart enough will diversify their traffic as much as possible. Yes, Facebook is still the best with targeting and easy to figure out, but it's far from stable.

1. I hope you are retargeting your previous buyers with new products constantly. It's crazy to me that the majority of people don't do that.
Besides Facebook, invest some money in Google ads for retargeting as well and your overall cost for retargeting campaigns will drop.

2. Create Facebook LAA of your buyers and visitors, narrow them down with broad interests (Must also match option), to improve your targeting.

3. Google Shopping - still extremely cheap.

4. Different traffic sources like Pinterest & Twitter work great for ecom. Both networks are years behind the Facebook platform and targeting options but well worth a try. Pinterest is a little bit harder to work, still buggy (depends on your account), their reps are useless but their video campaigns are doing great.

Good luck!

Yes OP people are using SEO for dropshipping. I only have 45 blogs on one of my ds sites, but that's where the majority of my traffic comes from.

Hey there,

Just dropped you a PM !

what's your email inbox method ?or which mail server you use?

I build legitimate opt in email lists - so I just use a standard autoresponder host with them.

But how you get the traffic and which email provider you use are just tools. What is more important is how you put it all together so your email subscriber funnel becomes self funding enabling it to continually grow and long term to increase your profits.

If you like I can take a look at your store and explain how I would do that?

The SEO you'd use for an e commerce store? Why would it be different?
