Thoughts on Morality Associated with BH practices

I'm kinda new to this world, and I've sort of struggled a bit with this. I've realized I can make a lot of money off of other people's content, for example. How substantial that content is, and how substantial my contribution in "curating" or "compiling" or "expositing" that content is debatable, but the bottom line is that often the central focus is on others' content. i.e. I'd be making money from others' work.

This presents a sort of moral dilemma. Can I morally justify what I'm doing? I've given it a shot but I'm not sure if I'm always satisfied with my reasoning.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg... I recently saw a post here about making money by exploiting people's gambling tendencies. Probably not the worst of it either.

Not judging, just wanted to see where others stand on this. Do you ever run into these kinds of moral dilemmas? How do you justify them? Or do you even bother? How far is too far for you? etc

Well , for example let's take CPA in game hack niche , most of people will lose just 2 minutes of their time , and u exploit the "unfulfillable market" which will be always there , some people consider this in the norms others not .
About the technique of luring people in casinos , I personally won't do this , cause those people are mentally I'll , and u rob them by using g this

I wouldn't worry too much, you've probably just stumbled across some threads, that don't sit right with you.

There's tons of blackhat methods out there that shouldn't raise moral flags for you. Not everything is spinning content and going after less than ideal niches.

I'd maybe browse the forums a little more, especially the making money sections to see tons of resources that don't have anything to do with exploiting people's work and/or habits.

Have ran into this conundrum myself a while ago. End of the day it's whatever you are comfortable with, as you appear to be aware morality means different things to different people due to circumstances, experience and inherent traits. Like me, I could never bring myself to outright deceive or manipulate e.g. Ewhoring and the discomfort and empathy for the "victim" I would feel make it a complete no go for me. But I would have no problem abusing the power of a Social Media site in a way the owners/staff wouldn't like in order to reach a larger audience e.g. creating numerous 'spammy' fan accounts for latest video games with my aff links.

What ever you are comfortable my man, although I like to live by "Don't do anything to someone else that you wouldn't want done to yourself".

Absolutely the same way that I look at gaming hack niche, thanks for pointing this out. Same with gambling, I look at it like an addiction, but would still consider the niche.


Now as for general moral principles, I wanted to do an employment niche but figured against it since I'm lying to people who aren't well off. Generally, every case is different, but the moral dilemma usually comes up in regards to 'traffic' that is having a harder time in life than me, and I'm supposed to make it ever worse. Some have moral qualms with adult, but I find adult to be pretty morally clean, maybe even to the extent of ewhoring-type activity (though I could never do that for example, ego's wayy too big for that lol).

Hurting people who aren't well off is where it's at for me, OP. Which ever niche you're in, odds are that if you're deceitful to any extent, you'll hurt someone. I had family members buy overpriced products promoted by lying affiliates and feel cheated and disappointed. It happens, it's not cool, but people should use their own judgement more. What are we in this for? To get easy money from people who have it in excess, because we obviously don't. That's blackhat most of the time.

Equally so, whitehat is often the same degree deceitful and unfair, it just presents itself better. The world is fucked up, if you need money don't feel bad for doing blackhat stuff. If someone can spend 50 bucks on a digital product he can feed himself just as easily, some of us couldn't at times. Screw him.
As for the people we give unfair expectations, I really am sorry, the best we can do is not exploit people more than we have to. Once you can start doing morally superior stuff to what was not so moral, you should try to transition.
