Fiverr Affiliate: will this work?

Suppose I make a gig on Fiverr for 5$ and tell some college students to buy the gig with my affiliate link. I get 50$ from conversion and pay them back 5$ + fiverr fees. Can this work for some passive Income?

It will most likely work, for some time at least, assuming Fiverr's algo has a protection in place. They are, like most affiliate networks measuring quality of the traffic. You are getting paid 50$ for 5$ because of the LTV of the customer which is measured for each affiliate account and compared with average LTV from all affiliate accounts - and once you get into the red zone where it says that your traffic is not converting as well as it does for all other affiliates they will disable it.

LTV = life-time value of a customer, and nope, these types of operations are something i don't feel like participating in as it's pretty much the straight up robbery.

Same IP = never a good idea.
Same bank account = You might get away with it, but when they see that their ROI is missing they will definitely review it.

If you can always provide new payment processor for each account, sure you can, unless they start asking for your ID before payout (they most likely do as they do ask sellers too).

It will work, if you have a new account maybe not but I had one and I put a $5 gig in a $50 section and got $3,000+ in commissions. They actually paid me too. they did say the quality of my account dropped a little and that if it continued they would reduce my CPA. I was not sending fake accounts though, these were real people so probably that's why it passed their inspection.

Granted a lot of people did purchase a lot more services and spent way more than $50 and the account was old and had been doing thousands in commission every month.

Would I advise doing it....Probably not. Far less problems or worries doing it properly. but each to their own.

How in the fuck is this illegal?? It may break their TOS but not illegal. it is 100% not illegal. maybe immoral but not illegal. Also what the hell are you talking about. Have you seen some of the shit discussed on this forum, this is vanilla mate! there is nothing stopping anyone putting a gig in a wrong category by mistake, fiverr even re-categorize for you if you have done it. Again nothing illegal is happening here people so you can ignore that comment

I do think the OP is talking about sending fake traffic to convert which is not what i did , the people were real customers, just buying a gig in a category that paid me the most commissions. I would not do this with fake accounts or traffic as I believe they will find you out 100%

I'd say it would work but you would need to plan ahead, I wouldn't say it's illegal either, it's Hard incentive if anything.

Just be ready to keep switching accounts as noted above, LTV will probably be your only problem so you need to monitor on account 1, how many sales you make before they ban you.

If you make 100 sales then get banned,

Account 2 you would make 95 (ish) sales and then start a fresh account.

They could write to you and ask for proof of traffic though, as to which you would have to answer cleverly, I would design a website and give out business cards, try get the traffic to go through your website so it looks better.

I was sending real people who purchased real gigs. I did not pay people to buy gigs, what i did was just put my gig in a category that paid more. sending fake traffic will be discovered real quick. There are too many factors to take into account to make an account and purchase look real if it's not and it wont last forever so its not something you can do on an ongoing basis.

You don't know until you try.

You could keep them going by emailing them deals, do like $100 giveaway, to enter purchase anything from fiverr and be entered into the draw.

Do it every month, your going to make your money back anyway, with this method it could help.

So I guess my super smart trick of telling people to buy my gig through my own affiliate and refunding them would do me good losses
