The process you described is the formula all Big Banks use to generate revenue. They borrow from the central reserve/other banks, and loan it out to people and businesses at a higher interest rate.

There are lending websites out there that allow people to loan their money out to other people online for higher than usual interest rates (I've seen 11%). There are also company bonds etc. that you could invest in as well.

OP I can chat and talk to you and anyone else who has that kind of money. We would work with syndicating small amounts in a large number of finance/lending products.
So you take OPs example 50k, you put $500 into 100 deals asap (deals might be anywhere from 10k-100k). This reduces risk, as some of the deals will default. You spread it out.
The deals all payback at max 80 days terms usually, 4 months.
Ideally you will see a 5% return in 4 months then do it again ideally flip it 3-4x in the year, you can even loan it and reduce risk for a 15-20% return yearly.

2 months to see a return not really though.
