Hi,
My wife’s uncle has an electric scooter/bike factory in China. They send out these bikes (some looks like Harleys) to Europe and Australia. I know that India, Thailand etc has a good market for scooters and I need a partner to work with me. I can ship these scooters for much cheaper prices than you can find on anywhere. All you need to do is clear the items and sell. Hit me up if interested.

Clearing those items isn't a problem. The low prices will definitely attract customers in INDIA but the warranty etc for the same is more important to make those final sale transactions. What's the minimum quantity the purchaser should go ahead with?
I mean are you looking for an FC 20 or 40 or with number items to ship. If all that ok, then we could have a visit to the manufacturing unit and see if it can be done.

I’m looking for someone to promote these for you. The company will give 3 years of warranty to each scooter. I’ll handle all the shipping, warranty etc.

Yes! That’s what I thought after doing some research on indian scooter market. Actually I can ship one by one but still get it to a really cheap price. I’m just not familiar with promoting in India and clearance etc.

There will promotions all the time in India (2-3 festivals will be there in different states on every month), it all depends on what the actual local dealer guy will be benefited with if he is actually able to close the sale. Send me your product info and brochure with complete details I will try to hook you up with some of my contacts in south India who do these promotions. If the margins are really that high, people mostly don't mind taking a risk on those single number of products

I live in Thailand Bangkok exactly. You are right that there would definitely be a market here. However who is going to make repairs after-sales service parts etc. Thais have already been introduced to the electric bike / electric scooter market buy fly by night individuals and I've already started to get a bad name. I would not be the first one, there are already people in Thailand doing this however they seem to be getting bad reputation as it is all sales final if it breaks its your problem type situation and Thai don't like that

Great. I'm from Malaysia and I'm interested to explore if we could hit this market. There are quite a few players in the market here though, so positioning would have to be pretty competitive.

Depending how fast and from which port you ship from, we could have an arrangement for us to market for you here to test demand, etc.

It would definitely help to have a service center here in the major cities in the near future, in order to make it sustainable, but we can discuss that later.

Couldn't agree more. Even though there's a 3 year warranty for each unit, claiming it would be little bit troublesome. To be honest, factory would consider opening up a repair center in there if the market is good. Thailand and China has close connections anyway.
