Is usefull to buy wiki link ?

Hello,
I don't understand something. There are wikipedia links that sell for $100 on the marketplace. But what's the point knowing that these are no follow links and that it doesn't bring in any juice in term of seo? If the wiki page has no visit, the link is useless, right?

For brands, authority, the occasional traffic, not believing everything g says...read this and follow the resources to dive deeper into the topic

If the link sticks for a year or so you might see results. Otherwise just sticking a link there for a couple of months won't do much.
