I am talking about botting done by hand, personally not hiring anyone, 3 accounts

how much time will consume, let say 200 actions is limit per day maybe follow 100 an hour and 100 likes (1 per user)

How to track and unfollow later ?

is this worth it ?

will this produce same results as bot ?

targeting ?

I also trying to start out this way.
I'll wait to read what others have got to say about it.

You can use unfollow stat apps to figure out who unfollowed / etc. Although Ive had organic manual accounts get deleted when using auto unfollow apps

Manual use is better long term because your accounts have least odds of getting disabled and higher odds to continue to grow (more views equals more potential buyers)

How you do this
how many accounts, time consuming ?

Just search "unfollowers instagram" in your app store , and you can do 3-5 accounts within an hour while your do other things

I know about this and many other apps that also do all actions in cloud
What about following followers of specific account ? do you do this by hand if so, is it time consuming, what is the average

Dude, what kind of question is this? It depends on you!
If you're gonna do your research, open all profiles, check if they're bot or not, their followings and followers, what they like, like their last pictures, maybe do a good comment, skip non english guy, etc. it's gonna take you waaayy more than just going to the last post of a hashtag and liking all the people that liked it.
I would say that if you want to do your job properly, it's gonna take you at least one minute per follower, so i guess 100 minutes per 100 followers.
You still need to find a good scraper to use and statistics for your accounts, to firgure out how many people followed back and from where.

Ps. separate sessions in 10 minutes at a time

I currently am doing this for my US agency clients. I run a team with 10 people and we do follow 400/day and we split it into 4 runs, so 100-100-100-100 throughout the day.
No issues and no block

We just unfollow by sorting the following first from the last follow and unfollow from there.

Not really understanding why you would do something like this by hand, when the bots cost few bucks per month.

as simple as because software botting isn't as easy as it was back in 2014, costs will incrementally go up, plus i have high tickets clients which cant afford shit to go down if instagram does updates , with all the blocks, account
compromised, and whatever bullshit they start to push nowadays

Hello. Surely you can go this way and build a quality audience by posting high-quality content.
All you will need is time+creativity.

I'm curious what price do these high end clients pay per month? And do you post for them too?

You gotta work out the math on how long it takes to take care of a number of profiles per month and see if it's worth it to put in the time. It might end up being too much work for the money, it might also be worth it.

You can't bot manually. (Unless you are a bot)
The term "botting" implies that a program or script executes certain tasks automatically.

You can do follow/ unfollow or other time-consuming tasks on Instagram manually.
Is it worth it? That highly depends on your goal. If you don't have any monetization plan in mind and just want to grow a big Instagram account I would say no.
But even in this case manual follow/unfollow can be a good way to start your account. After you gained a few k followers you should concentrate more on going viral and stuff like that.

If you already have a good idea for monetization only follow/unfollow can work quite okay. I have a friend who has an Instagram account about a product with still under 1k followers and he earns a few hundred $
per month by just doing follow/unfollow

The unfollow apps all don't work currently. You can see who unfollowed, but you cannot do the auto unfollow feature if you have all the people not following you back collected in a list. Seems like instagram might've caught on. Look at the recent reviews of the Unfollower app.
