I have a pinterest account that's quite old (2016). I only recently started using it to promote post from a WordPress based site automatic via IFTTT around mid 2018. I just got hit with this notification when i logged in today "This account is suspended until August 29, 2019." Should i just wait it out and not worry about it?

Seems that its my pinterest account 2nd copyright complaint and if i get another i'll be banned from posting content on pinterest. Is this heavily enforced and should i be deleting/hiding the board thats getting the complaints? Any advice would be helpful

Yes, it's quite heavily enforced.

Your account now has one copyright complaint check against it, if it happens again it will most likely be a permanent suspension.

The only way to get a copyright complaint check removed is if you can provide proof that you own or have rights to the image/content you used.

I'd delete any pins that use images which you don't have permission to use.

Pinterest take it quite seriously, so you should avoid getting copyright checks against accounts you want to use long-term.

Do you believe hiding the board is enough? It has a lot of pins to delete
