What to do if my competitors are using BlackHat SEO

The people I have been competing with seem like they are really experienced with SEO. Those guys steal content from other sites(such as mine). A 2-3 weeks ago someone dmaced them for stealing and selling their images and all of their sites were taken of google. Present day, they have some how ranked for the keyword I am looking for again. When they were taken of there was no competition and I ranked. When I checked ahrefs, it said they have 3k backlinks on their new domain and had 130k on their old domains. How can I compete?

I have the same problem with content thieves, but after using the Wordpress plugin from this site, no more drama about that.

their website is agar.live/play0.php and agar.live/play.php, I see that they are using some backlink software, but im new to seo. Is there any other tactic they could be doing that im missing? Those guys have been ranking for years

That'll destroy your rankings because search engines will index the garbage.

They may have a pbn, but ahrefs top backlinks are mostly comments or random pages where their links are just hidden in the html(inspect element and control f for "agar")

There is another side called agar.one, which ahrefs says has 500k backlinks. That domain no longer lists on google though because of the dmca so hopefully I can start competing

1. My account has no posts cuz 3 years ago I downloaded some random cracked file and it made me create an account and reply to download it
2. By spoken I meant I was talking to them about how they stole content, they dont seem like people who have contacts at google or anything

I think you are misunderstanding my intentions. I am posting here to ask someone a bit more experienced if they could see something I am missing. I am not offering any services for "new seo techniques". It is a possibility these guys are doing something that isnt public, but I am merley asking if I am missing anything

Yes, someone can copy from the source code. But the person should know about the code. Also, the poison text is when it is copied more the 150 symbols(one paragraph or more).

If they steal your content you can also sue them (not so viable if you don't live in the same country or arn't all in the EU at least). If you have the money to afford a lawyer you can create genuine consequences for people. It's all fun and games until you get taken to court. It depends how valuable your content is though as well and whether it's worth the fight.

Thats PR spam site, you can order some of em here.

Also, fighting over AGAR game is not worth it at all.

I'm reading this thread late-night, I just came in to tell you guys you're all dropping some good tips here.

You can also:

1: Disable the right-click option on your website.
2. Stamp all of your images with watermarks in places hard to crop out but not ruining the image.
3. This hasn't been updated in awhile but used to work: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ram108-feed-delay/
4. If you're using Wordpress, use the RSS feed option to each post. It'll create a special link and notify you when it's republished.
5. This too: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-copy-protection/
6. Also, consider every now & then, running your website's content through copyscape. If something that isn't your website pops up, report it. If you have A LOT of content, like yours truly here, then hire a cheap VA to check it all out for you.

All good advice, but right click thing won't protect against text based scrapers (no JS).

I don't think you can compete against 10 people doing black hat.

Thankfully there are 10 organic spots, you only need to be positioned on one of those for a slice of the pie.
