Hi
We've been working with SEO on our website for a long while now, and our rankings were showing some very good results. We were however not pleased withour conversion rates, so we decided to create a new website which was optimized for sales and speed.
We also use 4 different languages on our website, and switched from Polylang to Weglot on the new website, since translating everything manually was a hassle.
Now after launching our new website, and 301 redirecting old links, we've lost all rankings in all 4 languages, and through audits on our site we've found conflicting hreflang values were conflicting but is currently showing correctly on our website. I know it's probably hard to answer, but anyone have a clue how we lost all our rankings on the new website, when everything was redirected correctly?
Will it just take time for Google to index the new page, or should it translate over instantly?
Any ideas and suggestions would be great, as we've dropped from 20-30 sales per day, to 2-3 sales after the change.
