To everyone else that didn't get an invite, if you have a twitter account,
you can go here: http://www.wave-info.info/ and follow their instructions.
If you tweet their message within one hour of registering (free) you will get an invite.

I'm already using google wave and also spent m]up my invitations on my buddies. One thing I gotta say, there are some bugs where you will not your or the other party's message.
Another thing, theres a lot of cool things you can do with google wave, its not just about sending "email-like" message. Its also a "real-time" chatting. Example, if you mess up with your spelling or you're planning of saying BS to other party, he/she will already see it even if you haven't sent the message yet. In short, you will see what the other guy is typing.
