what increases DA, other than guest posts and PBN s ?

So, I observe that forum links, web 2.0 s, etc only increase PA, but DA is increased only by PBN and Guest Post links and directory, what other ways to increase DA? If we blast T2 to our T1 web 2.0 s will this increase DA ? thx in advance

As far as I learnt here, it is link profile which isimporrant , so if we have 2 websites with same DA (lets say 20) but one of sites gained this with wweak forum links and another with guest posts, so the pages of site with strong links will rank higher yes ? What for the DA metric is then ? it seems useless to me.

DA is not equal to ranking. Yes, you can increase your DA with shitty backlinks but they won't help you rank.

I learned one VERY VALUABLE LESSON and it works like a charm!

1. Go to a google and type: domain authority checker once you figure out your DA Number
2. Get backlinks ONLY from a websites which have bigger DA than you and ONLY relevant to your niche
WORKS FAST!

Do-follow links from other high DA sites. But you shouldn't focus on increasing you DA, you should focus on increasing your rankings and getting high quality, relevant do-follow links that are related to your niche/topic. That's what matters and what will actually make your rankings go up. Google and (seo)MOZ algorithms are different and unrelated.

DA, TF,DR and other metrics are great for getting an *idea* of the authority of a site. But at the end of the day, neither metrics matter to google.

But its alo about how much quality you can provide to increase the DA. Now in IM, people are focusing much on PBN links, Guest posts, custom outreach or niche edits, because these links are highly niche relevant and help in increasing the rankings as well DA.
