Whats the point in increasing your Alexa rank if its not real traffic, and you don't plan to flip the site?

Does google use alexa to determine their own rankings or influence them?

Yeah that's what I'm saying. I guess the value is being able to point to your new ranking in alexa as proof that your site gets good traffic- even though the ranking is bogus.

It should help in any kind of link exchange deal, or jv or partnerships or something to be able to point to a good alexa rank for your site...

guys i am having some trouble with this and i would appreciate your help:

i ve been using super alexa booster for 5 days now + the other chineese program+ one online alexa booster site.

Everything works fine.

The thing that bothers me and i want your thoughts on is this:

BEFORE i started using all these, my alexa rank was:
2,618,376

5days LATER my rank is:
2,847,255

It is my understanding that to get HIGHER alexa rankings means that you LOWER the number.

How come and i went from 2,618,376 ===>2,847,255.
This means that my alexa ranking has DROPPED

Any thoughts?

I got a higher number when using alexa booster so didn't work for me.

Also, the instructions for the firefox proxy alexa booster do not make sense.

Can someone give a better explanation please.

When I use the Firefox Method I set reload every at 2 second refresh.Bring up two Firefox windows and let it run non stop for 2,3,4 days,however long you want.As for Foxy proxy I thought it rotated proxies but it doesn't.On default it is your own IP.But I ran Firefox and Alexa Booster with success.I let my two Firefox windows run for 3 days straight.

Thats werid heck i upped my old site all i did was install sparkey that alexa toolbar and then got and mouse auto clicker set it on like every 12 secs OVERNIGHT marinate.
DONE!

Whenever I test methods like this, OR any BH tools, I create a NEW domain
or use one of my test domains, WITHOUT Adsense, I only place Affiliate Info on the
Page to test results.
But to be double safe, I have a Adsense account in my wifes name and I try split the micro niche site between hers and mine. Thus if one gets banned for some reason, only half the adsense income is lost.

The reload every part of the method with one ip will only get you around 2,000,000 in Alexa.I havn't tried it yet,but change to a good proxie that isn't slow and run 2 windows with reload every set at 2 seconds.Let it run for about a week.Rinse and repeat with a new proxie everytime.

As for the Alexa booster I run it to about 20,000 hits and then update it and run it again.

Whats the point of downloading foxyproxy? The default settings means it doesn't use a proxy.

If you don't usr proxy, all hits will comming from same IP and country.

So you said same IP will get you only 2,000,000, but your 7 day is under 300,000?

So did you achieve that difference then by using proxies?

I did run only the Alexa Booster 15 times with 10,000 users and i dropped like 15,000,000 in Alexa. Could you explain why would you also need the firefox plugins?
