Losing Everything due to Amazon Seller Account shutdown

This is my first post. I've known about this website for a long time but never knew what it really was or how to use it. I am an amazon seller making enough money to support my family, two employees, and an apartment in Los Angeles. Amazon, due to a fraud alert that wasn't my fault, terminated my account. They won't answer my emails, they won't answer my phone calls and have been zero help. I am letting go of my employees tomorrow and have no way to pay off my american express debt that I used to purchase material for my product.

I literally have nowhere else to turn. The seller forums have been little help. Has anyone faced this before? What are my options? Should I buy a new account? I just really don't know what to do.
Any help, I mean any help is so much appreciated.

Meanwhile yes create a stealth account and start fresh unfortunately

When they notified you, what wording did they give you?

If the 'apartment in Los Angeles' isn't your main home, then sell the weekend getaway and pay your credit card bills and employees.

I agree that Amazon can be difficult to work with, but they must have given you some information about what the fraud alert was about? It must've been something serious for them to terminate your account?

That's why you should always diversify your income, don't rely on one company (that doesn't give a shit about you).

All hope isn't lost, keep calling/emailing, and if you can't recover it, you have enough experience and knowledge to rebuild everything in lesser time.

Man is difficult when your life depends on a salary or a page only. In especially when you have to support a family. I'm really sorry for what happened with your account. But perhaps this is a way in which you can open your horizons and see that online there are many but many ways to earn money. Take advantage of all the opportunities you have especially if you just told us that you live in the USA. Or that is what I have understood. Good luck :3

Maybe it's a good sign to start trying to sell your stuff on standalone ecom? Setup the shop on spotify, buy traffic, try to start generating income.
In the meantime, you should continue fighting with amazon issue through lawyers, support, 3rd party consulters.

You will have to do what everyone else who had an apartment in LA and got banned from ebay did back in 2008: Get a stealth account.

Do not let this get to the point where you lose everything. You have to ride the beast that Amazon, eBay, PayPal, etc. have become today, or do not use their platforms. They will suspend you without warning. ALWAYS. Not only are you building a house upon sand when selling on platforms like ebay/Amazon, it is actually quicksand! Your whole house will sink as soon as you put the finishing touches on it. As you can see.

You are better off putting your products that you sold on Amazon, onto your own website. Everyone seems to love Shopify because an ecommerce website is already set up for you. You just customize it the way you want it to look for your products. The same way you did it on ebay/Amazon. It is the same set up, same deal, except now you will be promoting your products yourself, rather than ebay/Amazon doing it for you. Use the same product titles on your own website that you used on Amazon, so you can pick up some of the same customers/traffic that are still looking for your product on Google, not Amazon.

Do not fall down the trap of:

1. I can't do it.
2. I can't advertise without Amazon.
3. I can't get customers without Amazon.
4. I already read all the other stealth forums and I still can't do it.

No one wants to hear that because we all already went through this with ebay in 2008, but our attitudes were different back then. We weren't going to let ebay kick our azz like that. We were going to kick EBAY'S AZZ! We all got that Stealth guide from Aspkin and got busy making stealth accounts to let ebay know who was really boss. They wound up having to make all kinds of expensive changes and updates to their website through the years to keep stealth accounts at bay, and we all just laughed because none of it worked. That is the kind of attitude you need to have if you want to play with Amazon. Detach. Right now you sound defeated, but all you need to do is get the ebay or Amazon stealth book from Aspkin's ebay forum. Read it, follow every step, and you will be back on.

Don't have much experience about amazon but if anything doesn't seems to work then you can also try to find the dropshipper that are selling those exact or similar product and talk with them.

You can find them in facebook by searching or spying their page ads in ads library. If you don't find them via facebook you can also search you product in google and send message to the store owner that is selling that product. Or you can go to website from google and from their go to the facebook page and check their ads and message them if they are selling same product.

Also I reccommend you to go the big dropshipping group on fb like ecom empire, ecom gabriel and share your story their with your product photo. Try to show as much as authenticity as you can and offer them really good price. Most dropshipper will be more than happy to take order from you if you have your product in US and if you can avoid looking scammy and give them good price.

This might involve lot of work on your side so do this if there is no other option available and I hope you have good product that is selling well right now. Good Luck.

But there is something that you are not telling us.

Getting a ban over a 1 fraud transaction (which OFC is not your fault) is not virtually possible.

Also, if your product was that good, i guess is brand established by now and you can easily go for eCommerce website and start selling again, it will be cheaper to run tho.
