'Noon, BHW community,

I've decided to start a new journey which is highly related to my main income. Decided to add up another way to work around this income of mine and realized that starting up a blog would be the best thing right now since I'll be able to monetize it + share some real knowledge with the people working in the same sphere.

Since I've never ever before created a blog, I have absolutely no clue where to start and how to start. Of course, I'll be using this forum in order to find some advanced knowledge, but here are some questions from me now and I hope that you can answer them:



1. On which platform would you suggest me to start this whole blogging thing?

2. How do I bring people to my blog? (I plan to link the blog to my personal IG account which could be one stream of interested people)

3. Any specific plugins + theme that you would suggest me to use?

4. Is it even worth creating a blog nowadays?

5. Does SEO play a huge part in this? The whole key-word'ing thing that I have either no clue about just yet. (But I'm willing to learn and push this thing forward, no matter if it's going to be hard)

6. Should I buy a domain a professional domain on godaddy? (If there is even a point in doing that)

Is it possible to create and monetize blog with wix.com? I'd definitely go now for Wordpress if my budget let me. I got myself a sweet domain, everything and then realized that Wordpress doesn't come in no monthly type of packages. It's pretty expensive, honestly.
