What are the difference between Black Hat SEO and White Hat SEO?

I am new in this field. So don't know the exact difference between Black Hat SEO and White Hat SEO. Please help me to find it out.

I'm a newbie in this forum so please don't take my word 100%. That being said, I believe BH SEO is more risky and playing off the rules or at least grey zone-ish while WH SEO is more secure.

Black hat is generally a riskier form of SEO. These tactics are usually a huge network of PBN sites, .RU blogs, other forms of spam.
Many do this for churn and burn sites, or for basically untouchable SEO niches (Gambling, Pharma, Adult)

White Hat is a safer way of doing things. People who have a real business and want to be in the SEO game for a long time usually prefer this way of doing things.
These tactics usually entail just producing good quality content like youtube videos, polarizing articles, using guest posts, etc. White hat also does take longer to do.

The type of SEO you should proceed with entirely depends on the type of mission your website or business is on.

Blackhat is basically way to rank you website faster by using techniques that violates google's guidelines and is definitely not recommended specially if you are looking for some long term solutions.

In my knowledge, SEO itself is a blackhat. Since you will be influencing Google to make it look natural but that's not true. And I don't think white hat exists anymore since you cant beg to google make your page to first.

for me,
Whitehat = is buidling seo on page and off page(mostly) with manual technique, typing your own article,registering 1 by 1, posting in your own web2.0. 1 by 1 with SEO Term and condition with no body knows what is SEO TOS.

Blackhat = whitehat using tools...

some people think whitehat is better than blackhat.
for me.. blackhat is a miracle in seo world!
