Article Marketing?? Does it work?

Hey broz and sistaz in BHW,

i am starting to work with article marketing.

Would like to ask you guys if any of you had success in using article submitter to submit your article to tons of article directory. Does it really generate massive amount of traffic and backlink to your websit?

Also, i am using Instant Article Wizard to generate my articles. Is this software useful in generating unique content accepted by major article directories?

i will be driving traffic to my landing page and then direct them to clickbank products.

Anyone successful with this method of marketing?

Well I do use article marketing but I can't say that submitters will get you a lot of traffic, at least they have not for me. Part of the reason I think is that they submit to hundreds of smaller directories that don't get as much traffic as the bigger directories.

I use a service called Article Marketer. It blasts out your article to thousands of directories, but it's better for backlinks then traffic. What I would do is submit a really well written article by itself to EzineArticles.com and then rewrite it and blast it out using a submitter to the smaller sites.

Article marketing works but it needs to be done consistently and you can never stop doing it or the traffic will die out, but some articles have the potential of long term traffic if they are popular.

I have Instant Article Wizard also. It's a great program to get ideas from but you need to do a little writing yourself. It's great to write the outline to an article really quick. I think it's far superior to any article spinning program out there.

What you are doing is the right method as far as sending traffic to a landing page that redirects to an affiliate product on Clickbank. This is basically known as BUM marketing and works really well with smaller niches with low competition. The niches with higher competition can still make money, but you'll need to write a ton of articles for them to make any real money.

I have actually tried article marketing and pad submissions in an attempt to increase my backlinks, but haven't had any success with it.

I know article marketing -> landing pages -> affiliate sales works because my affiliates use it all the time with articles that I wrote and put in my affiliate section.

try USAFreeads for submitting articles.. it seems to be really good these days

Thanks for all the information!! Does craglist work as well? I have seen a software going around in BHW thats called Admaster that allows you to post advertisments onto craiglist automatically... does this work as well?

Thanks for all the suggestion.. I have been purely doing PPC to CPA offers and now i am trying to venture out into other traffic sources as well to diversify my online business.

Actually I don't know if article marketing really works... it's on my list; as the things that I have to do, to give it a try.

I want to try out article marketing, because almost everybody recommends it, as a useful and efficient marketing tool.

It is said that sends you a tremendous number of visitors to your site. And it's long term advertising. Because any article that you write and submit, stays there for a long time.

For article marketing to work, you have to write an article that catches the eye; to be extremely interesting or controversial... an article to start a debate, and the link to the article to be sent all over the sites of the world.

For results, you have to submit at least an article per week, but it is recommended that you write and submit an article every 3-4 days.

I will soon start my article marketing campaign, so I will share my experience with it.

I give a positive vote to Instant Article Wizard. It does live up to its hype- you can quickly create a barebones article and with a little thoughtful editing you have a good, unique article.

If your next question is whether someone has it for free, I don't thank that is possible. I think it is going back to their servers because it is a subscription model.

instant article wizard?? i got it for free on this forum... been churning out alot of nice articles with no problem... and using article submitter platinum to auto submit it to the many directories... and manaually submitting articles to ezine articles and goarticles...

That's what i am doing for article marketing...

Ewen Chia said the success formula is to submit 30 articles everyday for one month... then we are bound to earn $1000 in time to come... haha.. i am planning to submit at least 5 articles everyday...

I recently bought a domain name and wanted to create a blog out of the index domain... The articles link to a sub domain minisite which i have created to link it to clickbank products..

So what can i do with my main domain? Its a review domain...

Sorry I wasn't precise. I am using Instant Article Wizard Pro that just launched. It is different than the non-Pro version and runs on their servers not your desktop.

alright...you've got my attention!
but let me get this cleared..what exactly is article marketing?

you whip out an article with a link to a domain of your choice...this domain redirects to an aff link...you then submit the article to article directories and wait for people to find your article, click through and buy something...right?

or are we just talking about writing and selling articles to people who need them?

The biggest problem I find is they lose traffic after a month. Does anyone have a way to fix this aside from writing more or links back etc etc (or what is best way to re-vitalize the older written articles)

Yes it does work but don't expect to be number 1 for 'internet marketing' any time soon everyone worries about big G but don't forget a decent article to the right target market will get more juice.

I got one article awhile ago published in a health magazine and 300 sales later I decided writing a few better articles worked best.

I tried PAD with some success in terms of backlinks, get about 100+ in a month. I notice google picks them up almost immediately after I submit using promosoft and the listings do mess things up in the beginning. But after a few weeks I notice my site getting higher and higher, even peaked on page 1 and is going back and forth between page 1 and 3.

So that one site was just with PAD, now to combine all other methods, should be on page 1 soon.

Article marketing definitely works - too many examples of people using it successfully to deny. The only problem is it's a lot of work. I have a hard time writing everyday, so I focus on article quality. My EZA article stats let me know pretty quickly if I have a winner on my hands or not. But the linking strategy I use for a project is what generates the long-term traffic article marketing experts talk about. I will link my EZA articles to a network of authority sites like Blogger, Googlepages, Hubpages, Squidoo and Weebly. I did this for a BUM marketing project targeting an adult niche. I wrote 6 articles that generated 38,210 page views and 13,945 url click-thrus. The bulk of this traffic (34,614 page views and 13,120 url click-thrus) was generated by 2 articles that were No. 1 & 2 on the first page of Google for a very competitive search term. One of the articles remains in the No. 2 position. It took 3 months for this project to start paying off - my Squidoo lens was converting 1:32 - until U.S. recession fears set in. I'm sharing my results only to show you that this method does work.

You can't lose with article marketing, though I'd suggest just sticking with the top directories. I tried out articlemarketer.com once and it ended up getting my new sites kicked out of the search engines. Too many links at once On the other hand, submitting PAD's with promosoft has had fantastic results.

Can you say more about the linking structure? Do the articles point to the authority sites or the other way around or reciprocally? I think x treme ranking is about that.

I'm linking to the authority sites from my EZA articles author's resource box and then back to the EZA articles. Ex: If you have a Hub, a Squidoo lens and a Weebly, anchor text link to all 3 from your resource box (3 is the max number of self-serving links you can have in your EZA resource box per their editorial guidelines), then anchor text link back to your EZA articles from those pages using the article KW's your trying to rank for. Also anchor text link your pages on these authority sites together and make sure there are no holes in your linking structure.

For added juice to your parasite pages, set up accounts on MyBlogLog, Bumpzee using the KW you're trying to rank for as the name of the account and add your relevent Squidoo and Blogger URL's to your profile. I've had Bumpzee and MyBlogLog links rank ahead of the actual sites I added to those accounts. Another marketer hipped me to using Feedbite and Grazr to aggregate all my RSS feeds to create more backlinks. It can be very time consuming doing this, but well worth it.
