Checking if your links are indexed tools?

Anyone have any experience with this? I'm looking for the best reliable option to check if my links are indexed on google, so far i've heard about 1. using site:http://example.com on google and i'm not completely sure if that works. I've also tested a few link checking sites but all say different things so it seems like they aren't really accurate results.

I can't use google search console for these links they are articles, blogs and etc ithat i can't submit or verify as my own domain because well they aren't.

Hi mate, personally i use serprobot, you put the link and the keyword you are targeting, and it can told you your rank.

i use excel sheet to create rows with the following url structure (using CONCATENATE function)
https://www.google.com/search?q=http://www.MYBACKLINKURL.com/blogpostxyz

then use a bulk url opener like this https://urlopener.net/ to manualy check each url to see if it shows up in google search result or not

true, and yes you are right. it is not 100% correct, because i have links that google says it is not indexed, but they show up in google search console backlink report for my money site!!!!!!! now that is a WTF moment


i still think that this is the best option, specially when you only have less than 50 links at a chunk to worry about

So a basic google search of your website is a pretty sure fire way to know if your link is indexed? For some reason i thought even if your link is indexed it wouldn't show up with a direct url search

most of the times. i have come across very few instances, where google says the url is not indexed when I search for it, but it shows up in google search console backlink report for my money site. even knowing this, i still use this approach to figure out which tier 1 links I still need to worry about indexing and showing up in google search console.

Alright fair enough i started this thread because its been about 2 weeks since i started building links and none have been indexed so either im just being really impatient or the way i was checking to see if they have gotten indexed was wrong. Thanks for the tips everyone.

maybe google has 2 indexes. one for pages that actually seem remotely decent, and one for all the other shit. maybe google has your links indexed but some not in the main index

I check indexing in netpeak checker (https://netpeaksoftware.com/checker), it checks if a URL is indexed in google, bing, yahoo, and yandex. if you want to check it for google, you will either need to complete captcha every time (since google blocks repetitive queries) or use some proxies.
