Is facebook and twitter enough for a new website?

I'm launching a website this week and I dont know how many social media to do. If I do Facebook page and twitter is it ok?

Why not register all the social media accounts? Somebody else might register your social username and you'll be forced to use a different name or maybe even buy the username in the future...

Hi what is the niche of your website? But I agree with them that you should just make all social media accounts but just make sure to post regularly in all of the sites.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr.
