it is quite hard to price IG accounts.

the reason is there is multiple factors that play in the price.

has it done any shoutouts or business-related posts? if yes decrease value.

what is your engagement rate? high engagement rate = increased value

niches? niche is the biggest factor of value. an account in the luxury clothing niche is worth more than a hot looking girl account that sells nothing but photoshopped tits.

you can take a look in the social media section in the marketplace that should give you some ideas.

This is only my opinion, but it is not worth it to grow Instagram accounts, unless you're doing it on a mass-scale, then maybe. But, your time is better off elsewhere. If you're actually growing HQ accounts you are best off using them for yourself.

I have only sold one account until now. It was a 15k account. I put it up on an instagram selling site (dont rememeber the name, first one that pops up). I priced it at 270 which is already very high.

Within one day I already received a bunch of requests for the account. I ended up selling it for $320. The demand for accounts is very high. Growing accounts is very time consuming though.

I think you are better off creating a brand and a real community when trying to make money on Instagram nowadays.

If you check the marketplace there are a lot of IG accounts sellers. Most of them charge like $8-10 per 1K followers.
Price will depend mostly on your engagement rate.

The reason i'm askin is because i'm starting instagram, i got some aged accounts and started gathering followers. but also i'm researching all possible outcomes. If i succeed in affiliate marketing i'll keep the accounts. otherwise i'll just sell them

I would say that the market for growing accounts is pretty saturated, but the demand still seems to be there. If you can figure out botting like Jarvee, growing accounts at a mass scale could be a good long term investment. However, if you are so good at growing accounts on Jarvee, then you might as well grow a bunch of accounts in the same sub-niche, dominate that sub-niche, link a blog or an online store, and make a ton more money than you would selling IG accounts at $8-$10 per account
