How to index a guest post?

not true... you can share that post through all of your social media accounts.... use reddit, twitter , pinterest, plurk.... usually these 4 do the trick for me.

also, treat this guest post as your money site. build 2-3 high quality blog posts to it from indexed web 2.0.

Should i build web 2.0 from scratch for this purpose? Or should i always have some web 2.0 that i am continually posting to? Like a handful?

Please explain further if you don't mind.

Did you check the post is blocked or what? Is it allowed to get index or not?

@cozziola until you share the link with us all we are saying just assumptions, we are not sure 100% why. If it is a GP there is no need to send social signals because webmaster submit their sitemap to Google Search Console, the post will be index automatically until unless page having noindex tag.

Press CTRL+U on the your post page and search for "noindex" and "nofollow" without ". See if you can see any.

or
http://sitet.com/sitemap

Change the site.com to your domain name find the sitemap file and see if you published link is there. If you need further help feel free to pm me. You got enough answers to resolve your issue as per my understanding and knowledge.

for my powerful tier 1, including PBN links, i create manual powerful web 2.0 and use that to index each tier 1. If I have 100 tier 2 links, I might cross link them to tier 1, less than 5%. in another word each tier 2 sends a link to a single tier 1, 99% of the time.

you should have tons of web 2.0 in your arsenal, ready to be used when you need them. key is getting links from aged web 2.0 accounts.

as how I have indexed tier 2, i used GSA blast (article and wiki links to tier 2, and then blast those articles and wiki by guest posts, forum, etc.) also i share those tier 2 web 2.0 across my social media accounts. I use firefox and "addtoany" addon to make life easier for my self. use dummy social media accounts so if one gets banned, you start another one.

I checked by copy and pasting the url into Google search. Thats the right way isn't it?

it is about 95% of the time; however, I have links that do not show up in google search result but they show up in google search console!!!! i have no idea why this happens.!!!!!

but yes, having the link showing up when you search for it, is the way to go.

financial cost = zilch
time cost = a lot

i update my tier 1 (pbn + web 2.0) = add 2 blog posts twice a year
tier 2 web 2.0 = try to update once a year, some have not been updated for 2 years now

each update includes a blog post (spinned content or duplicate content from other sites that don't care about their content being copied)

One caveat: any time there has been a major google update and my primary keyword got knocked down from first position, I have been able to gain it back by updating my tier 1 sites. is there a direct correlation? I don't know. but it has worked pretty much every time. so your mileage might vary.
