Summer effect of course..

Summer is bad because people are on vacation. Vacation spots are making bank while online sales are suffering - after all, who has time to go online when you are out having fun?

I have been selling online for 10 years and the summer has always been slow over a wide range of businesses and websites I have owned.

Summer is bad because people are on vacation. Vacation spots are making bank while online sales are suffering - after all, who has time to go online when you are out having fun?

That could potentially be a reason why, but isn't the main reason.

I don't see huge summer dips in my sales for affiliate websites, since it happens annually throughout the whole year.

Without more data from the person who started the thread, it's hard to give a reason.
