What To Do With This Website?

Hi All, posting for advice if available please!

I made a Website 2 years ago just to see if it could rank, get the phone ringing etc. The website was for a local legal firm and url place-namesolicitors.com
I added to Google places and have phone number for it too.
The site is now page 1 or 2 for some search terms locally, and I get probably 2-5 email/missed call enquiries per week.
Now all of the local firms have their own sites, all within the first 3-4 pages of local search terms. I have emailed a few so see if there is any interest but only one reply call, and the guy was unsure how he could use this site. I emailed him a proposal for redirecting the traffic to him for commission but no further reply.
How do you think I should proceed? I'd like to flip the site (I think it has great value) or sell the leads generated. But... I'm no salesman!

Call or visit different firms in that area and surrounding areas. Tell them you make websites and you have a website that is driving targeted leads/calls. Tell them you can have the phone calls and emails forwarded to them for $XX per lead, phone calls more money than emails. Make sure you tell them you won't bill them for shit calls/leads.

I'm not Irish at all. I'm in the US. I only used firm instead of lawyer because you used it.

As far as pricing I have no clue what you guys charge out there.

Yeah I was actually looking for a solicitor myself and noticed that a lot of them around our country have fairly ass websites that's why I was thinking of jumping on the idea.

Yeah some of the websites are pretty junk, but Irish business owners are seriously backwards in seeing the value of decent online presence.

Are you planning something similar, or going selling your service first?

I am no salesman, that's likely the main issue. I may get some balls and start making a good amount of phone calls.

A problem I have found in Ireland is the attitude of many (most) small business owners here. They do not see the value that online can bring. Many of them seem to think a crappy placeholder €200 website and never updated Facebook page is the way to go. Plus lead generation makes them suspicious.

Or am I just reading the situation all wrong? Constructive criticism welcome!

The US is probably the most advanced market when it comes to paying for online ads and things like that. You could always try the free trial route if they don't see the value immediately in what you're offering. Give them a few free calls, then follow up and tell them the cost. If not go to the next lawyer.

Not gonna lie man, your best bet is the damn travellers. I'm in Tallaght so we get a good few travellers trying to sell stolen shit, set travellers up with sites charge a fee for everything and you'll be paid in whatever you want hahaha. Your idea here is pure beautiful I'd love to work with you on this project instead of trying it myself. I know a good amount of shitty sites that can be fixed up for dollar bills

Ahh you do find the odd traveller that's actually got a business going, I had a traveller that bought from chinese companies to his site and started selling things around communities and he ended up spreading out good. All about knowing the right traveller though, they all know eachother so it's basically a niche

Boards.ie will ban ya pretty quickly for spam, yes its where everyone goes to moan, make sure you have a portfolio and don't make yourself out to be a newbie or you will get "work for free for experience", I did it when I was out of college ( silly me), Ireland is so small its easy to rank which is a good thing, So use it to your advantage.
