Goodbye Like & View Numbers

So Instagram removed the number of likes and view your posts receive.

Clearly for the however long IG has been running, account klout was based on follower number but more so like numbers.

Apart from the obvious (quality content), how can we keep that 'image' of being a worthwhile account to follow?

I'm still seeing the NUMBER of LIKES displayed on my end. I believe I remember hearing that this was first being tested in Canada.

I personally think they will roll it back cause since everyone wants likes and views I don't see how users will stay on IG if they can't get "fame" lol.

As far as I can remember, it won't display the total number of likes publicly anymore. You still can see who's liked the post. The account owner should be able to look at the total number of likes though.

Yeah I can confirm that, kind of.

I can still see who likes the posts but not the total number.

Nothing here in France yet. The good thing is that when you propose to client f/uf, on the long terme they are loosing a bit of engagement but without the importance of having a good engagement and likes, they won't complain anymore. Which is good because they may stay longer

Doesn't affect UK / USA yet. No date is set for when it will be released here.

I'm from Italy and Yes, they are testing it on some accounts. I had some of client's accounts being notified about this being tested.

To be honest i don't think this will be definitive, they have done this with other features in the past.

I don't know about that. I feel some businesses will still need to buy likes to some degree, but they'll need to be far higher quality.
