This has been done a lot of times in the past.
This method just exploits the fact that there is no limit on mentions for verified accounts.
The account will get banned after some hours or days.
If you can get a verified account for a cheap price and you can generate more income than you paid for the account with the mentions this is a great method

Account will not get banned, just the post will be removed, they can say that the account was hacked

Yes, but some of the accounts who did it in the past also completely disappeared. I think there are two possible cases:
1. Account really got hacked - Instagram will just remove the post and give the account back to the original owner
2. Account got verified through some loophole - Instagram realizes that this account shouldn't be verified at all and banns it

I am not really sure if I am allowed to give contact information of an offsite member and I don't really want to get my account banned, but it should be easy to find if you are in the OG market for instagram accounts etc
I'm pretty new to this an am getting my first affiliate marketing pay next week so I want to find suppliers to invest but aight

Its aka mother-child method. Some years ago we used the software which allowed to mention tons of users. The main idea was to drive traffic to one main account and then by the link in bio to some CPA offer.
In general, the method looks like:
- main account
- a lot of support accounts
- list of scraped niche relevant users
- every support account mention 5-10 users under the post of main accounts with delays of 5-10 seconds.
As a result - the tons of traffic.
